Spikes is, hell.....he was calling Michael Oher by his middle name the whole game when they played.

I want that on this team, a fiery guy that can bring it, talk it, walk it.
I'm not sure we've had a real SOB at LB since Romo . . . and we should know
what Romo did for us. If Spikes is that SOB, the guy those on other teams hate,
    I'm all over it . . .

I really like spikes but I dont think you can pair him with DJ very well. This is why I love McClain but to get back to the orignal topic I would take McClain over Bradford I have watched Bradford a little (im not claiming to be an expert on the guy) but he seems a little skinny/frail to be playing QB. I would be very concerned with his injury history and I wonder if we wouldnt be better off waiting to trade up for jake locker.

Jake Locker is going back to college next year, so that's not an option. Brandon Spikes is a leader and an animal. I think he'd fit in perfect with DJ. DJ would be the coverage LB, and Spikes the thumper. Spikes is very much like a young Andre Davis. He plays with passion and fire, but won't have real impressive numbers at the combine. As a matter of fact, I'd be surprised if he ran anything lower than a 4.7 40.

I have not read through the whole thread, but I think value-wise, a healthy Bradford is the best pick. McClain is a beast though. hes a "plug-and-play" player, who needs no time to adjust to the NFL. He is 1 of 5 player IMHO that can start from day one. However, that would be on a team in need of a ILB. DEN has two really good one already. Anyone who says Davis is over the hill is on dope. His play was outstanding, and he never was injured.
As long as Bradford has a clean bill of health. His upside is huge.

I'm actually hoping that there is some doubt about Bradford's shoulder, because that's really the only way he drops to us. Even if it takes him a year fully recover, he's worth the investment.
