My favorite memories are during my early childhood years and my dad having season tickets to THE REAL COLORADO ROCKIES!!!!!!!!!! So many games I watched from the top seats (my dad had to sit there because the Rockies said his HUGE [I MEAN HUGE!!!] megaphone was being heard over the TV/Radio haha)

    Ahhh the memories.

So, so many. Probably my personal favorite; Bill Clement interviewing goalie Tom Barrasso in the locker room after the Pens beat Minnesota for the Cup and he says "we're going to break away here; Badger Bob Johnson wants to address his team". They switch cameras and Badger quiets the "celebrating" team down and says "let's all put our (championship) hats on together". The players take them off their heads and they all hold them up high and Badger says "hey, I'm proud of everybody around here-PUT IT ON"! Awesome, touching moment that is dear to my heart.

"It's a great day for hockey"-Bob "Badger" Johnson

The 91 Finals. No one ever expected my NorthStars to be there and Pittsburgh whipped them, but the post season was a fun ride that year. Nothing was better than beating Chicago and St Louis.

    Default More favorite "retro" memories

    More favorite memories...

"It's a great day for hockey"-Badger Bob being put on the ice surface of the Igloo for the season after he died.

Mario flying to Philly the day OF his last Hodgkin's treatment and scoring a goal and the Flyers fans actually CHEERING HIM!!!

Mario's # 66 banner being raised to the rafters when he retired.

Mario's # 66 banner being lowered when he came back; his son Austin wanted to "watch his dad play hockey".

Seeing then Flyer John LeClair give a frightened little boy his hockey stick after the glass broke during a game in Philly which scared the bejeebers out of the little guy-this class act very much impressed me even though he was on the Flyers..

    Two words: Ewe Krupp.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I wish I had a greater number of Leaf memories but 1992-93 is probably my fondest.

    87 & 94 Canada Cup, 2004 World Cup

    2002 Salt Lake City Olympics

2006 Turin Olympics (Huge Sundin fan, nice to see him win gold)

World Junior Championships - too many years of Canadian dominance to list.

Every Saturday night growing up - Hockey Night in Canada (Getting on my pj's and watching with my dad and brother).

Now it's definitely watching my son play and love the game.

5 point night for Ovechkin in a 10-2 romp of Boston.

3 goals - 2 assists. The guy is sick.

Not a great night to be a Canes fan as Wash did cut into our lead
but AO is awesome and I tip my hat to him.

    Boston looked lost tonight though.
