Howsam, a pioneer sports figure in Denver with professional baseball and the founder of the Denver Broncos franchise, died last week in Sun City. He would have been 90 on Thursday.

Howsam's sons, Robert and Ed, are scheduled to speak. Howsam also is survived by Janet Howsam, his wife of 68 years.

Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Denver at a date still to be determined.
Please, if any of you have the spare time and can attend this funeral, please do so you can pay homage to the man who started this franchise that we all love so dearly.
