We gave the jackets a first round pick in the 2008 draft if we make the playoffs. If we don't make the playoffs, they get our 2009 first round pick. That's what the Rocky Mountain News says.

Ok i can live with that. Footey is a stud and still has some great years left. We needed to get bigger and meaner. Its about time. I am tired of all this finess crap we have been doing lately.

JML was the name that came up the most in trades. Like the guy but I guess they felt they could get something good in return since Cumminsky is the up and comer that can be the puck mover on the blue line. Hopefully Foote can help bring the D together, solidify. Avs going to have alot of chemistry issues but hopefully they all work out for the better. Good to see that Avs address the D that name wise looks good now just see how that translates to the ice.

Not crazy about giving up a 1st rounder... But seeing Adam Foote and Forsberg in Avs jerseys once again is going to be unreal... It'll take me back to the glory days *tear*...

Solei will only help to solidify the D...

Finally, I'm excited about hockey again.

    Again?

Avs have some good talent, most likely won't be a high first but hockey draft is way different from other leauges. Sad to see Skras go, but Solie should be a nice addition.

    holy shit, that freakin' rules!!

too bad i can't actually watch any of their games. . . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

need to get CenterIce on Directv.

Med is too poor to have it

but do have the NHL network that gives a lot of highlights
better than ESPN 35s thirty seconds worth and full coverage of spygate 24/7 and the stupid Clemens congress crap.

Or you could just get the sports package instead of center ice and you should get Altitude which televises all Nuggets and Avs games excpet for the 1 or 2 that or on TNT or Verses. I can not wait untill I can get my DirecTV back!
