Thread: Season Kickoff - Saints @ Colts Game Day Thread

Anyone watching the game? if ya are and you're near a computer lets talk ze football. Looking forward to the big game. Didn't like watching a bunch of music artists perform isntead of a pregame show, but I'm excited about the season starting. Real football is here!

Hope Drew Brees lights them as a tree and the Saints win 37-31

Reggie is gonna be fun to watch......esp against Indy run D.

Interesting couple of first drives. Addai got hammered, btu came back injury free. Brees and the Saints offense looks good, but when blitzed had some problems picking it up, of course they were 4 wide.

McCalister still looks good even though I thought it would be a bad year for him, and the indy D is surprising IMO. They look solid....

Whoa can't believe Brees caught that deflected pass. He has spider like reflexes

So I am getting the feeling I'll be talking to myself this whole thread, well luckily I have beer to make my own conversation more interesting

Really though, I hope to see the Saints get their O in line this drive...

I'm at work so I'm trying to follow on ESPN/NFL.com...

NFL gamecenter is not working and ESPN is slloowww...

10-10 at the half really good game so far. And not as high scoring as I figured.

So far I've been really surprised by the lack of a real offensive drive that ended i na TD for the Saints... still a great game though. All nodded up at 10 at the half...

I think they'll turn it around and get some good drives going in the second half. Surely they won't keep Bush and McAllister contained the entire game. One think I have been disappointed in, though, is that the Saints really haven't gone deep yet. I figure they will open it up more in the second half.

Saints are still stalling and Indy keeps moving. As things develop, if they continue this way, it may get very one sided....

This game looks like it's getting out of control...

Peyton reigns supreme, the season is officially here...

The Saints are putting together a pretty good drive right now.

Watching Reggie Bush and Peyton Manning all night never gets old...Bush is such a pure athlete its not even funny. And Manning is...well...Manning...

Hopefully the Aints can come back and win this one. As much as Ilike Peyton and Addai, I'd love to see the Dolts start out 0-1.
