Awesome! Good luck with that build brother. Mine is just about done. I'm waiting on my 165* thermostat to come in and I have to splice together a firewire cable and a USB so I can wire my digital wideband to my SCT XCal3 to my laptop. It makes data logging so much easier. Once that's done, I'll hit the highway for some baseline WOT tuning then the dyno for numbers.

EDIT: One thing I will suggest is ditching those shorty headers and getting some longtubes. I bought a set of SLP longtubes for my car and i'll probably pick up 20-30 rwhp from that alone.

I wanted an older Mustang, but the Maverick was cheaper. I miss the hell out of that car. I had a 302 as well.

Nah man. Don't be sorry! I needed to free up bandwidth on my photobucket account somehow, and I don't care about post count that much.

Is the color of your car Wild Strawberry? I used to have a '92 hatch that color. I loved it.

My car is going to be a blast. I need to get it done but with work and getting ready to move I just haven't had the chance.

nah it's Electric Red Clearcoat Metallic.

mine will be fun once it's all done, it'll probably take me 3 years to get everything done to it that I want to do, but that's fine by me because it gives me something to do.

I must say I have seen a ton of swaps but never a 351W in a early 90's mustang. My dad had a 72 Mach 1 with a 351W. That should move pretty good.

eh people do it all the time. Go over to corral.net/forums/ and you'll see 351 swaps out the ying yang.

351W is a very good engine block, especially the 69-74 blocks, they are much stronger than the stock 302 blocks in the 79-95 mustangs.

Like Overtime said, people swap 351W in to Fox Mustangs all the time. It's pretty common and not too expensive. My favorite engine swap in to a Fox car is the 460 big block and a 4v motor (32v, DOHC).

I'd like to take a 5.4 4v aluminator motor and put that in a Fox with a KB. THAT bitch would flat out move.
