In this episode Neko and I give our thoughts on "Corman's World" which details the legacy of legendary filmmaker Roger Corman. We discuss not only some of the great films he created but how he managed to launch so many great actors from his films.
We review last weeks episode of The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs which featured the films "Train to Busan" and "Spookies". Not only does one of the films confuse us in terms of plot but apparently Joe Bob and company as well to the point that they even created a rap song about it.
The tv series "Dark Side of the Ring" had a feature on the late Brian Pillman who happened to be pretty close to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Find out how Brian kickstarted the "attitude" era of wrestling and how troubled his personal life was before his death.
And finally, in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault we revisit "Killing Zoe" from 1994 starring Eric Stoltz and Julie Delpy.

My favorite coworker died 8 days ago.
I decided to do vocals for 1 more song.
Unreal that I did all the vocals for the album.
No melody on these vocals. Did them as I did years ago.

Big changes -
1. We are now a 3 piece band.
Scott Mayfield has joined - "electronic sound alchemy" is his description. Out of this world talent on any type of keyboard. Most talented musician I ever met. Pro musician, lives on the east coast. I jammed with him in the 80s and we have remained close friends. He supplied a song for the debut album and will be more involved going forward.
2. EPITAPH is no more.
CHOIRS of the VOID is the new band name.
It is the title track of the album as well.
We went by Epitaph from 1989-1992 and when we started up again in 2016.
What we are doing now are the best songs we have ever done. It was time to move past the old....and CHOIRS of the VOID is perfect for the lyrical direction now and going forward.
I redid vocals on Dawn of the Despised Saturday.
All that remains to record for the album are guitar solos for 2 songs.
We start the mixing process in the next 2 weeks.

In this episode Neko and I talk about the new Netflix series "Cat People" where in each episode we learn about the different types of people and personalities who not only care for cats but have some amazing relationships with them namely the Acro-Cats.
We also give our review of the movie "Perdita Durango" starring Rosie Perez and Xavier Bardem. While the movie has that classic grindhouse appeal was it as good as advertised?
Neko also finds an article from Ultimateclassicrock.com giving their 50 best American rock bands of all time list. Do Neko and I agree and what differences would we have with the list?
And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault selection we go back and revisit "The Spirit" starring Gabriel Macht. Was the movie continuing the success of utilizing a mixture of comic book appeal like "300" or "Sin City" or was it missing something?
