We mixed 2 songs yesterday. It was a great experience and we love the results.

Listen to Prescient Demise by CHOIRS of the VOID on #SoundCloud
    https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/hNUWt

1 more song left for our lead guitarist to record.

    All told the album has
10 songs that require a full mix
    6 songs for partial mix
-2 are bass + vocals only
-1 is guitar + bass only
-3 are bass + drums only

    Beyond the mixing and mastering,
We have our logo to be completed, to decide on the cover and see which label(s) will pick us up.

Looks like we will be doing a video session at a studio for their YouTube channel plus a live show or 2 later this year.

I've started on the music for our next album/EP.

I must have typed it into existence......

Our debut album will be released on CASSETTE!!!!
    on Postmortem Apocalypse.

Unreal. I love cassettes. I don't have 1000+ tapes like in the old days, but still listen to them and always love it when one of my favorite bands has a cassette release of their new album, as Judas Priest and Cattle Decapitation and a bunch of others have done lately.

In this episode Neko and I say goodbye to Cinderella guitarist Jeff Labar and talk about some comments made by Derrick Green of Sepultura in regards to being sober and coherent when performing.

We also discuss the finale of the Disney+ series "Loki" and what it means for the MCU going forward. Does it open the door for future works or has it given too much away at this point? We also revisit the "top 50 alltime greatest American rock bands" only this time we are giving our own lists. Did we agree or disagree with some of our picks?

And finally, in the Retro Dvd Movie Vault Neko pulls out all the stops by subjecting Noobs to "The Notebook". Was it a painful experience or was it a decent rewatch? You decide.

Special thanks to MDRP, Inverse Records, Against PR, and Curtain Calls for selected tracks this week.

We decided to release the album on CD and digital ourselves. We're not going to make any other deal unless we get a vinyl offer we like.

What we did with our Enkil/Nephilim split was give Nuclear War Now the rights to our music in exchange for X # of copies on vinyl. Made sense to do with old recordings, but not now.

If nothing we like comes our way, I can get it on vinyl for the band and those who helped make the album easily enough.

Who knows, our electronic alchemist/keyboardist has tons of connections. If a rights to vinyl only offer comes up, we'd happily do that.

Next studio session, we work on revisions for 4 songs. Looking forward to every session. It's pretty mind blowing to me. This should have happened in 1992. Waiting this long makes the payoff huge.

In this episode i am without my partner in crime Neko but there is never a shortage of stuff to talk about. Firstly, in the amazing world of animals we look back to the unlikely friendship of Pocho the crocodile and his relationship with the man who saved him.

I give my quick movie reviews of both "Werewolves Within" and "Gunpowder Milkshake". Were both movies as good as advertised or was there something missing? I also give my two cents on the new Netflix series "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" as it continues the saga between Skeletor and He-Man. Or does it?

And finally i discuss an article on Screenrant regarding the 10 best directorial debuts in films of horror. Did i agree with the list or do i think there is some better work out there?

Special thanks to Grand Sounds Promotion, Everlasting Spew Records, Inverse Records, Curtain Call Records, Atomic Stuff, Against PR, and Horror Pain Death Gore for selected tracks this week.

In this episode Neko and I discuss that tragic late passings of Metal Church vocalist Mike Howe, ex-Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, and ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill with Howe hitting Noobs the hardest.

We give our thoughts on two wonderful documentaries, one called "The Wilderness of Errors" which deals with the murder of Jeff MacDonalds wife and children back in the 70's and the controversy of whether or not he is guilty of the crimes. The second is about Maila Numri most notably known as "Vampira" in "Vampira and Me". Find out how this wonderfully strong and intelligent woman set the standard for the horror movie hosts that we have today.

Neko and I give our quick thoughts on the Joe Bob Briggs Jamboree we went to a couple of weeks ago and in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault pick we discuss the highly underrated "Ghostkillers vs Bloody Mary".

In this episode Neko and I give our review of a night with "The Amazing Acro-Cats" starring the amazing Tuna, Jax, Sookie, and the gang. Not only a great performance but also for a great cause.

We give our reviews of "Jolt" starring Kate Beckinsale as well as "The Suicide Squad" with Edris Elba and Margot Robbie. Did the new installment wipe the slate clean from the first film or did it fall flat yet again for DC?

And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault we revisit 2007's "The Game Plan" with Dwayne Johnson. What is it about this particular movie that keeps driving Neko and I back to it? And why is it that Rotten Tomatoes and the audiences dislike it so much?

Special thanks to Vlad, The Metallist PR, Scarlet Records, Against PR, and Everlasting Spew Records for selected tracks this week.

In this episode Neko and I catch up with Metal Tavern regular Edgar Allen Poet as we discuss his top 10 movies of all time list as well as talk a little about the Olympics and the controversy surrounding U.S. athletes kneeling.

In music news we discuss an article on Loudersound.com and their impression of how Sepultura's "Chaos AD" changed the metal landscape. Did it really change the landscape or was Sepultura really just slipping into the mainstream by that point?

And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault Neko and I watch and review Ken Russell's "The Devils" starring Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave. Does the movie hold up or was it simply a product of its time with the controversy surrounding it?
