In episode 140 Neko and I recap our adventures on That Phat Samurai Guys Vs episode between Carpenter's "The Thing" and Cronenbergs's "The Fly" remakes. Neko and I also have started putting out some youtube videos showcasing our dvd and collectable hauls.

In music Limp Bizkit release "Still Sucks" on Halloween and Yngwie Malmsteen praises the late Eddie Van Halen. But is Yngwie being honest in his praise? We dive more into the on set shooting of Alec Baldwin and how there is now a petition to remove real guns from films sets. Is this a bit of a overreaction or is it just time to take real guns out of the equation?

And one of the best things about the latest James Bond film is the lovely actress Ana De Armas who is in talks to be the lead assassin in a spinoff series from John Wick called "Ballerina". And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault Neko and I revisit 1982's "The Entity" with Barbara Hershey. Find out what still makes this movie tick even with the controversy surrounding it.

Special thanks to Vlad, Scarlet Records, Music Records, Inverse Records, Xenokorp, Metal Message, and One Eye Toad Records for selected tracks this week.

The new Cradle of Filth is their 3rd strong album in a row.

I liked their debut album, then couldn't get into any that followed until Hammer of the Witches. Killer lineup. The 2 guitarists that joined before Hammer are great.

Interesting, im assuming by debut you mean "The Principle of Evil Made Flesh" and not the demo stuff that was more black metal oriented correct? I do agree the debut is great but i actually liked "Dusk" and "Beauty" as well. Midian, Damnation, Nymph, and Thorno were pretty decent but after that i kind of lost interest in the band as the work seemed so-so to me. New album wasnt horrible but ok for me. I think ive just kind of out grown the band by this point overall but do love those first 3 albums a lot.

    Yeah, The Principle.

Can't really pinpoint why, but the albums that followed didn't do anything for me until Hammer of the Witches.
I remember being excited about the 2nd album coming out.

In this episode Neko and I talk a little about a couple of remakes/reboots involving "Highlander" and "Pumpkinhead". While one seems that it could be promising the other...not so much.

In Egypt massive rain and flooding has caused local scorpions to invade homes injuring over 500 people and killing three. Is it a sign of the end of days or just a random storm? In sports we talk about our team the Denver Broncos and the inconsistent year they have had culminating with an egregious error committed by starting QB Teddy Bridgewater and why its unforgiveable.

And in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault Neko and i take a gander back at 1981's "Possession" Starring Sam Neill and Isabelle Adjani. What exactly is it about this movie that is so disturbing and should it be taken literal or figuratively?

In this episode Neko and I give our review of "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" as well as our thoughts on season 2 of "Tiger King". Did the latest installment of Ghostbusters do the originals justice or was it a trainwreck like 2016?

We also discuss the new documentary about the rise and fall of singer/artist Janet Jackson following the aftermath of Super Bowl 38 halftime show. How much of what happened falls on Jackson and how much of it was to blame for everyone else involved? Neko and I actually disagree on some things regarding this.

And finally, Neko gives us an update on the Brian Laundrie case where the remains found could point to suicide but Neko thinks there may still be a chance that it was homicide.

In this episode we finish up our review and discussion about the Disney+ documentary "Get Back" featuring lost footage of The Beatles. Noobs discovers something sinister about Yoko Ono and her relationship with John Lennon.

In an article published by avclub.com Neko and i go through the list they created of all the Marvel tv shows and how they were ranked from worst to best. Did we agree and were all the tv shows something we were aware of?

Neko breaks down her early thoughts of the new "Sex and the City" series and whether or not it deserves the hate or love that it has been getting. And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault Neko selects "Saturday Night Fever" starring John Travolta. Was this movie simply showcasing disco dancing or did it actually have a much deeper and troubling story behind it?
