Released it today. No details yet, as it is still a ways off, but this EP has been picked up by a record label.

In this episode Neko and I are joined by long time friend and musician Jason "Crash" Steffen who gives us some insight into his latest release "Icarus". Tune in as Crash hangs out to discuss music and our topics for the day.

Speaking of topics we dive into the 1993 movie "Demolition Man" starring Sly Stallone and Wesley Snipes to ponder the cultural impact the movie might have had back then and how it reflects on today's "woke" Culture among other things.

We pay a small tribute to the passing of Tom "Tiny" Lister and his long career of tv roles as well as his most famous role as Deebo in the 1995 hit "Friday". And Screenrant.com poses what would the original "Evil Dead" look like if you were to recast it today. You might be surprised by whom they chose as the lead role Ash.

And finally as Neko and i start to get back into the later season of American Horror Story we talk a bit about season 6 "Roanoke" and give our lists of our favorite seasons.

Special thanks to Qabar PR, Curtain Call Records, and MDRP for selected tracks this week.

EPITAPH - Dawn of the Despised update

Our biggest recording weekend by far.
    Drums are nearly done.
4 more songs to record on bass.

We start recording guitar by January 17th.

Still going to take time coordinating schedules...and studio is only available on weekends, but the most difficult part is done.

What started as a 16 minute long EP is now a roughly 50 minute long album.

We decided to use a not yet recorded song for the next album.

    Nice!

Thanks for the update. We actually played a track from your band on our last episode which will be posted Tuesday night or Weds sometime. Closed out our show in heavy fashion.

In this episode Neko and I go on a lengthy conclusion to end the year of 2020 and in that we break down our top 2 underrated actors and actresses. That within itself was no easy task but even more so was doing the review for Wonder Woman 1984. Did it manage to be better than the first film and keep DC's hopes alive in its quest to keep up with Marvel? Or did it crash and burn like so many of DC's recent filmography?

We also review The Mandalorian season 2 which ended with a great surprise but leaves many questions going forward about the main character and what lies next. And Alan Rickman famously known for portraying Severus Snape in the Potter franchise and the legendary character of Hans Gruber from DieHard will have a book to be released based on diaries the late actor left behind.

Special thanks to Grand Sounds Promotion, Inverse Records, Hardlife Promotions, and Qabar PR for selected tracks this week.

We live in Hutchinson, Kansas, a huge metropolis of roughly 40,000 people, 3 of which are metalheads.

Big weekend. Recording a crucial song tomorrow bass and drums and I'm recording vocals for a song. Jammed with Aaron (guitar, synth, vocals on the new album and he also did drums on Dark in the Day) this afternoon. We jam with the drummer tomorrow, then record bass and drums. Aaron will start recording guitar by next Sunday.

Never done this before. The mixing process and all the ideas our drummer/engineer has are going to be life altering for me. Might be done before my 52nd birthday in April. Crazy. Life is good.

In this episode Neko and i talk about the shocking passing of Children of Bodom vocalist/guitarist Alexi Laiho. We take a moment to touch on his work with COB and other various projects.

We review recent seasons of Cobra Kai and the finale of the History channels Vikings. See why we think Cobra Kai has really hit the mark and although the last couple of seasons of Vikings has not been the best they did manage to bring it to a reasonable and interesting conclusion.

And Neko discovers that the Danish have a new children's show, about a giant penis...... oh boy.
