Hey Hey o #MetalTavernRadio! Welcome to episode 1778 of the #HordesOfChaos.

As we gear up for the Tennessee Metal Devastation fest we dive into the controversy regarding the satanic panic from the local residents. We discuss why it continues to be silly when people freak out when metalheads gather to celebrate the music and scene they love.

In music we talk both about the ongoing fued between Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth in regards to who had the better legacy in #Van Halen. But the fued isnt just with the former singers as it spills out into the fanbases as well. Neko and I break down where we stand on this issue and whom we feel actually had the better legacy and why.

And finally i finally sit down and discuss one of my favorite musicians #Robbin Crosby from one of my alltime favorite bands Ratt and the tragedy of his ill-timed passing. I explain why Robbin was so important to the Ratt sound but also explain why Robbin was never let back in with Ratt where Neko also gives a great perspective on the matter.

Sup #MetalTavernHorde, welcome to episode #179!

This week Neko and I dive into the latest news regarding former President #DonaldTrump and the raid that took place at his home. The ongoing debate in America is whether he was selling classified secrets to other nations OR is this just a political stunt to erase him from running in 2024 for a second term?

We also cover the recent passings of both #AnneHeche and #Olivia-Newton John as one actress was involved in a fiery auto crash but appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The other actress/singer passed away from cancer but will always be remembered for starring in the most famous musical ever #Grease. Neko and I take some time discussing both and remembering their legacy.

And finally, we give our review of #Prey the latest movie in the Predator franchise that goes back to basics as a prequel to the #Schwarzenegger 1987 hit. While critics are raving about the film for its cast choices have the audiences bought all in? Recent numbers have started to show a drop in how they feel it compares to other films in the series. Tune in as Neko and I become brutally honest in our opinions about this film and where we place it in our ranking list of the #Predator franchise. Some people may be disappointed in what they hear.

Special thanks to Qabar PR, Against PR, Metal Devastation Promotions, Grand Sounds Promotion, The Metallist PR, and Scarlet Records for selected tracks this week.

Sup #Horde of the Tavern that is METAL.

In episode #180 Neko and i revisit Ace Ventura: Pet Detective in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault selection this week. We dive into whether or not the movie has aged well to the point of whether or not it would be made today and come to the conclusion that some types of comedy does not work for everyone. Has modern society simply become overly sensitive when it comes to entertainment?

We also air our interview with #Salqiu brainchild Nuno Lourenco and pick his brain to varying degrees about this musical creations, his love of digital art, family life, and why mental health is so important. Kick back and enjoy our conversation with this amazing artist who pushes boundaries creating thundering soundscapes with a experimental edge within the realm of black metal.

And finally, we check out the documentary on #HBOMAX dealing with the late #Princess Diana and learn more about who she was and why the world was so obsessed with her. Interestingly enough we also get a glimpse into some of her darkest secrets some of which gives Noobs a pause in her perceived innocence following her death.

    Alright #Metalhorde!

Its that time again for episode #182 and in this episode talk about something that could affect all forms of music when we dive into a youtube video from #KnightTalk that discusses an Atlanta DA who wants to use lyrics from rap artists against them in criminal cases. Should this be a thing or should we tread lightly when artist brag about crimes they may or may not have committed?

Neko and also take a gander and check out "Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes" to see if the hype from Rotten Tomatoes is real. Were we in agreement with the scores or did we find that the movie was missing some things?

And finally, in our #Retro Dvd Movie Vault pick we go back to view "Cool Hand Luke" starring Paul Newman. One of the reasons we decided on this flick is because of the similarities to Stephen Kings "Shawshank Redemption". Was King inspired by this film or is it just a coincidence?

    What's up #Horde!

In episode #185, Neko and I give our review of season 5 of "Cobra Kai" and decide if the show is still living up to standards and what could be in the works for added movies.

And finally, Neko and I check out "House of Gucci" starring Lady Gaga, Al Pacino, and Adam Driver. We continue to be blown away by how good Gaga is as an actress and her work in this film is no different. But was the content of the film accurate?

    Happy Shocktober #Horde!

In episode #188 i go back and give more thoughts on the VS episode on That Phat Samurai Guy's channel with the battle between Mario Bava's "Black Sunday and Dario Argento's "Suspiria". Was the clash between these classics worth the price of admission? We all know where the Noobsman leaned right?

Then, staying on the topic of Argento i review and discuss his brand new film "Dark Glasses". Does the film stay true to Argento's style and flair or was it a miss completely? Horns up #Horde!

In this episode i review an article that discusses the impact that true crime series, movies, and media coverage has on people. Does it really impact us badly? Or does it keep us informed and aware of the real life monsters among us?

I also give my review of "The Prey" starring Nick Chinland, Danny Trejo, Adrian Paul, and Kevin Grevioux. Did this new monster movie satisfy the beast within me or was it a miss? Find out in this episode.

And finally i take a shot and watch the horror anthology "Bad Candy" which stars a certain metal vocalist as a radio DJ. Seeing how i love 2015's "Tales of Halloween" and 2007's "Trick r Treat" does this film live up to those standards and if so where does it rank among my favorites?
