Piggy backing on the latest episode of Hordes of Chaos and the topic of the rock n roll hall of fame.

If you had to start choosing which rock and metal bands (no hip hop or other genres) would start to make your list who would you choose?

And furthermore, if Metal Tavern started making it a yearly thing to vote in said nominations would you all be up for it? Obviously the inductees would be just for us the fans but would it be something you all would be down with?

    Give me your thoughts.

We decided to change it up a bit and utilize the wall space better so we can get more posters up. Missy said she wanted to try and get a CBGB feel about the lair.

One of these, I'm not sure which one but you'll know what I mean, has a strong resemblance to Pink Floyd's Astronomy Domine...the chord structure and mood...just prior the 39 minute mark.

    Emerge a Tyrant- Succubine Atrophy
    Paradise Lost- Paradise Lost
    Sahg- Black Unicorn

edit: ok, it's actually just the part between 38:30 and 40:00, and I'm starting to think I invented it. idk. But at the time it reminded me enough to hear the similarity, maybe you will too.

Chances are its probably the Sahg song as they blend a bit of doom with psychedelics. They also sound a bit like Ozzy on the vocals. Im totally hearing what you are saying now.
