Do want to give credit to Mastershake for the Metal Tavern banner for my sig and various websites. Much appreciated man, looks great.
In this episode Neko and I give out some thanks to friends of the show Mastershake for creating our new banner as well as Kevin Tarrant for the requests and dedication to Neko. On a more somber note we discuss the passing of our friend Pim who sadly took his own life.
On the heels of that Neko brings up an article that strikes home about the controversy of going to far when getting young men and adults to be more sensitive. Are we as a society pushing to hard when trying to de-masculine men for the sake of weeding out sexism? Neko and I tackle the topic with a culture that seems to be becoming toxic on the other end of the spectrum.
In entertainment, we discuss the Disney+ series "Hawkeye" and determine whether or not it holds up to other parts of the MCU. And finally, in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault pick Neko selects "Tommy Boy" starring Chris Farley and David Spade. Does the comedy hold up or fall on its face?

And finally, in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault i select 1977's "Orca" starring Richard Harris. What is it that separates this movie from the rest of the creature features of the 1970's?

In this episode while Neko enjoyed the HBOMax Harley Quinn series she puts Hollywood and Noobs on full blast about the sexualization and dumbing down of the character in the live movie adaptations.
We discuss the evils of sugar free gummy bears and the results of eating to many in one setting. Noobs attempted this to dire results and you will get the lowdown in this episode.
In two different segments Neko and I discuss the problems with idolizing and treating celebrities like gods and the harmful effects it can have both on fans and the celebrities themselves. One specific example is a man like David Bowie who has a very sketchy past when it comes to underage girls.

In this episode Neko and I talk about the passing of musical artist and actor Meatloaf. We also discuss an article ranking the DC character Robin and the many versions of him.
Legendary if going to be releasing a live action series based on Godzilla Monsterverse while we wait for a new film to come out. And yes folks!, its happening!!! Neko and I do our Tier rankings for the 90's action flicks so see where we place and rank them.
And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault pick Neko selects "Falling Down" starring Michael Douglas. See why it is people can kind of relate to the main character and see Noobs totally rant about an article that misses the overall point of the story.

Noobs Ranking:
Neko Ranking:
In this episode Neko and I discuss how older mainstream music is killing new mainstream music not just older people but younger ones as well. We dive into the theories of why that might be.
Neko and I step away from doing our action movie tier rankings to do a "girl com" tier and you might even be surprised what films Noobs actually endorses in one of his least favorite genres. Also, drummer Gene Hoglan steps away from Testament so we discuss 6 drummers that could possibly replace Hoglan going forward.
We dont often think about Antarctica much aside from Carpenter's "The Thing" but you would be surprised by how many disappearances and deaths have happened there when we discuss the frozen graveyard that is the arctic continent. And finally, in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault we revisit 1981's "Clash of the Titans" starring Harry Hamlin and Judi Bowker.

In this episode Neko and I talk and review the Disney+ and HBOMax series "The Book of Bobo Fett" and "The Peacemaker". Has both the Star Wars franchise and Marvel run out of gas? Has the market for both franchises become over saturated?
We also review the Netflix series "Archive 81" which has some subtle similarities to a series called "Dark". Is it a straight up copycat or does it bring hold its own in terms of story telling and plot design?
And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault Neko selects "Mean Girls" starring Rachel McAdams and Lindsey Lohan. Noobs initially put this in his average block on his tier rankings but after watching it did it move up at all or does it fall of the rankings altogether?

In this episode Neko and I break down our tier rankings for actions movies of the 2000's. We also discuss the documentary in Netflix called "The Tinder Swindler" and learn just how shitty men can be but also how naive women can be.
We take the time to dive into cancel/woke culture as we discuss the suspension of View host Whoopi Goldberg. The question remains do people deserve to be fired/suspended for their opinions even if they are not grounded in facts? And is there a double standard when it comes to woke culture?
And finally in our Retro Dvd Movie Vault Noobs selects "Kiss of the Dragon" starring Jet Li and Bridget Fonda. Noobs breaks down why this may be his favorite movie with action martial arts star Jet Li.
