In Episode 76 i talk a bit about the return of actor Brendan Fraser and why he chose to step away from the limelight in Hollywood. Everything from his love of horses to his depression after his mom's passing and the sexual assault he faced before leaving.

In this episode i give reviews for the movie "We Summon the Darkness" on Netflix as well as more information on the "Mortal Kombat" reboot due out in January 2021.

And sticking with a horror theme i look back on a 2003 documentary called "Something to Scream About" which interviews scream queens of a lesser kind like Denise Duff, Debbie Rochon, Felissa Rose, and more. A great look back for these awesome ladies and what they are up to today.

Furthermore Noobs looks back on the legacy of Metallica's "Master of Puppets" and why it actually really is the best Metallica album. I give my input on why i think it stands the test of time as well as talk about some quotes from other famous musicians regarding this massive record and its influence even today.

In this episode i discuss the latest Jay Barauchel film "Random Acts of Violence" and how Jay steps away from comedy to bring a very retro styled and enjoyable horror film. Also, Noobs re-discovers an anthology gem from 1973 and it still gives me the creeps.

In rumorville there is talk of a "Death Becomes Her" remake which could star Robert Downey Jr, Kate Hudson, and more. Find out why i wouldnt mind seeing a remake especially with the selected cast.

And finally i discover a hidden gem among the Shaw Brothers catalog where martial arts meets horror and was in awe at how shocking and dark it was for the time period that it was created.

In episode 81 i give my thoughts on the new trailer for the "Dune" reboot scheduled to come out soon. Blabbermouth has an article where Marty Friedman talks about why the Rust in Peace reunion tour didnt happen and you would be surprised that i dont think it was Mustaine's fault.

Napalm Death released a new video for "A Bellyful of Salt and Spleen" and to this guy i find some unitentional similarities between Barney and David Byrne of Talking Heads. As we wait anxiously for Lou Yardley's latest release "Banished" be sure to check out the great anthology book "It Came from the Darkness" where she makes a guest appearance for a great cause.

And finally, we look back on the career of actress Diana Riggs who passed away recently at age 82.

In this weeks episode Neko and i discuss the court battle with Led Zeppelin and the band Spirit in regards to whether or not Zeppelin stole a riff with "Stairway to Heaven". Also, we dive into the power of three piece bands and how they can deliver great music with massive sound.

In the documentary Overkill: The Murder of Jon Benet Ramsey we get new insight into the death of the young girl but does it leave more questions than answers? Guitar legend Eddie Van Halen passes and we touch on the legacy that he left behind as a person and musician.

When it comes to movies to we tend to over analyze or overthink them? Do we rush to judgement on movies and their intent based on reviews and/or public outcry? Neko and i discuss movies like Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Enola Holmes to see if sometimes these movies are not as bad as stated by the public.

Finally, we review a documentary called "Girl 27" regarding a young woman named Patricia Douglas who was raped in the 1930's at a movie industry party and how Hollywood covered it up. We talk about how this was much harder than how women of today can address sexual rape and assault in the age of MeToo.

In this Halloween special Neko and I talk about the work of Rob Zombie both musically and cinema wise. Is Rob really unique or does he simply play off of nostalgia? In the documentary "Roll Red Roll" we discuss the case of the Ohio high school football team who raped a young girl and how both the defendants and the town treated it as no big deal.

Also Unsolved Mysteries season 2 is out so does it hold up and match season 1? We discuss how we feel about the renewed series in general.

Over the last 5-10 years i have grown to like and appreciate director Jean Rollins work even though it can be hit or miss. We dive into a review of sorts with the film "Night of the Hunted". Furthermore the movies star Brigitte Lahaie is spotlighted not just because of her success in both mainstream and adult movies but some of the criticism she took regarding rape and orgasms.
