Do you love movies with love stories? And do they include total mind**** scenarios sometimes with gore and guts? Great! I have a couple of movie reviews for you with Parasomnia and Under the Silver Lake to share with you all. Also, rumor has it that Amber Heard is being ousted by Warner Brothers for Aqua Man 2, find out if that should happen or not.

And Screen rant has an article depicting 10 movies that viewers claim they only want to see once despite being very good films. Check out as Anubis either agrees or disagrees with the list and what films would make his own list.

Special thanks to Sky Nielsen Promotions and Metal O Mania for their continued support of the Metal Tavern Radio Podcast.

With this episode Anubis goes back in time to a world of heroes with the documentary "In Search of the Last Action Heroes". What has it meant to action star fans and how has time changed what a action star is? Also i give my review of the movie "Mortal Engines", despite the negative reviews the Noobsman thinks its better than it appears and asks if it should have been expanded more.

In the doc "Mystify" we begin to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of late INXS singer Michael Hutchence. We discuss why the media is wrong in how they handle news and the real reasons the troubled singer eventually took his own life. And in a time when people should be more thoughtful it would seem that even on Mothers Day one woman thinks its alright to flip out on some employees at Red Lobster.

Special thanks to Inverse Records, Grand Sounds Promotion, Atomic Stuff, Angel PR, and Xenokorp for selected tracks this week. Also big thanks to Chris Grant and Kelli Grant of Metal O Mania as well as Sky Nielsen Promotions for their continued support of the Metal Tavern Radio Podcast.

In Episode #64 Fear Factory contemplates doing a tour playing "Soul of a New Machine" in its entirety but will the hangup of the pandemic and the battle within the group for its name put a stop to it? Why is it bands fight over name rights instead of just starting new projects? We discuss why from a audience viewpoint this can become tedious and petty.

We also have news on the Vio-lence front in regards to the writing process the band has for their upcoming EP. In movie news there could be some sequels for Hot Fuzz and Mad Max. Can the sequels become reality post pandemic and how it might expand those universes. And are movie theaters done for in the modern age? Has the pandemic hurt them or has their success factor been waning long before hand?

In the rock segment we dive a bit into the Downfall Networks review/commentary about Ratt and its legacy as a band and how the albums rank. Did Altantic Records screw up by not staying consistent with producers or was the band eventually going to fall apart due to infighting and addictions.

Special thanks to Grand Sounds Promotion, Curtain Call Records, Vlad, and Horror Pain for selected tracks this week. And special thanks to Sky Nielsen Promotions and Metal O Mania for their continued support of the Metal Tavern Radio Podcast.

In Neko's return we talk about the documentary "Welcome to Deathfest" where we see familiar faces and relive past experiences during one of our favorite festivals to attend in Maryland. We also talk about Lit Erotica and where to find them with the tits and giggles podcast. And Neko gets controversial with her pick of the week but alas the Noobsman has her back.

Bruce Dickenson loses his ex-wife recently but we also discover his appearance in the 80's movie "The Incubus" while with his former band Samson. Neko and i review the Shudder exclusive movie series called "Blood Machines" with its visually stunning visuals and 80's synthwave soundtrack.

We talk about the legacies of NBA coach Jerry Sloan and what he meant to the NBA and the Utah Jazz during its most prominent years. And sadly we discuss the passing of Japanese wrestler Hana Kimura and what lead to her death including online harassment.

In Episode #66 Neko and i talk a little about the state of America and its violence dealing with racial injustice and rioting. We explore how it affects us and those who advocate for change and the unwarranted criticisms they take unnecessarily because of it.

We review both the Elton John biopic "Rocketman" and the doc "Life After Flash" dealing with Sam Jones and the opus Flash Gordon movie and aftermath. And how far is too far when a company providing a service becomes vindictive to the point of suing its client and bullying them via web pages? Check it out as we talk a bit about Copper Stallion Media and their shady business tactics.

And Ratt are back into the top 20 with their hit single Round and Round...well the first time since 1984 anyway thanks to a resurgence due to their recent commercial appearance. And Ghosthunters season 2 is a massive hit for us as long time fans of the hit tv series.

In this episode MTRP hits 1,000 downloads and we discover the wonderful world of Drunken Bicycle Fu when Neko's car gets in a fight.

With three documentaries to cover we revisit "Nightmare on Elm St 2" to see if it really is the gayest film of the franchise. ESPN has a new doc covering the life and legacy of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee. Learn about the life lessons the visionary master of Jeet Kun Do had in mind and how it actually could benefit the chaos ridden world of today.

Youtube has a grindcore documentary called "Slave to the Grind" as it showcases the early formation of the genre with legendary acts like Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Repulsion, and Anal ****. Also, Dark Souls United has an article ranking all the Sepultura albums. See if Noobs agrees or disagrees with the ranking. In this weeks episode Neko and I talk about our evening with our metal family Crypt and Skully from Metal O Mania and the joys of finally meeting our twins of mayhem.

In music news we discuss the 40th anniversary of Rush's album "Permanent Waves" and the new video they put out in memory of that record. Youtube currently has a documentary called "The Satanist of Warsaw" featuring an interview with Behemoth's fearless leader Nergal. And what could have been had bassist Cliff Burton had survived and the band fired drummer Lars Ulrich following the release of "Master of Puppets".

Horror/Thriller author Lou Yardley is working on a new novel entitled "Banished" which will feature characters and character sheets provided by her Patreons including yours truly. And are accents disappearing with the advancement of technology and diversity across the globe? Check it out as Neko breaks down what is happening and why.

And finally in movie news we give our review of the Vince Vaughn flick "Brawl in Cell Block 99" and how it compares to some of his other films. And was Jean Claude Van Damme really originally slated to play the Predator in the original movie in 1987? Hmmm, interesting.

A big thanks to Horror Pain, Xenokorp, Angel PR, Grand Sounds, Metal Message, and Curtain Calls for selected tracks this week.

Special thanks to Sky Nielsen Promotions, Crypt and Skully from Metal O Mania, and all the other fans and artists for their continued support of the Metal Tavern Radio Podcast.

In episode 72 Neko and i discuss the trailer for "The Boys" season 2 on Amazon Prime as well as give a couple of movie reviews for "Guns Akimbo" and "Ford vs Ferrari".

We also discuss the recent passing of actress Kelly Preston and what she meant to the industry. We marvel at a recent article talking about iconic cars from tv shows of past and present. We also review the movie "The Babysitter" with its rising star Samara Weaving and the impact she is starting to leave in Hollywood. When it comes to reality tv how much of it is real vs staged? Something both Neko and i have to ponder when talking about Lacey Sculls from Rock of Love and her persona both as a person and in the world of music.

Netflix has brought back "Unsolved Mysteries" and it hasnt missed a beat in terms of content. We also touch on the upcoming collaboration between Metal O Mania and Metal Tavern Radio with the mid year best of albums from Crypt and Anubis.

Special thanks to Metal O Mania and Sky Neilsen promotions for their support of the Metal Tavern Radio Podcast.

In this episode Noobs is back into solo action but is still bringing the heat musically. Tune in as i give my review of the movie "The Gentlemen" as well as critique film critics Roger Ebert and his 35 most hated movies.

In music news Styx is in the process of mixing and doing the finishing touches on their new album. And a new article about Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson talking about how Alice in Chains got on the Clash of the Titans bill and how the rest of the thrash lineup felt about it. Furthermore does it conflict with another report of how the band got put in the lineup?

And finally a twitter feud has erupted between frontman's Sebastian Bach and Chris Jericho. Will a singoff competition lay to rest the accusations of lip syncing or will it expose it as the real deal?

In episode 74 i have 3 movie reviews to get to including Netflix's highest rated original movie "Extraction" starring Chris Hemsworth. Also, Shudder has their own new original Joko Anwar directed flick "Impetigore". How does it stack up to his previous work?

Im also excited to talk a bit about Donnie Yen's latest in the Ip Man movie franchise "Ip Man 4: Finale" which once again features some incredible fight choreography. And while he may look like the meanest and most sadistic individual on camera find out if the hard lessons Danny Trejo grew up with made him a better man and who he is today with the documentary "Inmate #1".

Special thanks to Crypt and Skully of Metal O Mania and Sky Neilsen Promotions for their continued support of the Metal Tavern Radio Podcast.
