Jaded be like: This hill is rocky, uncomfortable and generally looks painful. What a great place to die!
You just became a bronco fan when Jeudy was drafted huh? Sean Kugler, Jeff Davidson, Clancy Barone, Dave Magazu, and even Rick Dennison all have pretty strong resumes as former OL coaches here in the last 10-12 years. Heck we even started to wonder about Munchak until he figured out Bolles.
Also on the Wilson saga. I'm kinda with Jaded I just don't see the harm in bringing in a legit first rd. pick talent for dirt cheap that costs nothing especially When we are currently willing to pay a scrub WR 2 mil for nothing and our current RT is a guy who might make it through a game or 2......I am all about It factor and captains and good teammates and leadership, but I also know bad apples need some time and for all we know maybe Wilson meets Elway or Von or Risner and realizes football is actually pretty damn good . At the end of the day if he doesn't show up it cost you nothing at this point. At least offer the kid a workout imo......Its kind of negligent and hypocritical to not even bring him for a workout on a team in need of OL help when guys are out there like Antonio brown still winning SB's.......
Its Naive to give a kid a workout or bring him in, when Antonio brown is still in the NFL or Even our Own Melvin Gordon and his drinking problem?....I mean shit he just negotiated it down, but he has a drinking problem as well. Personally If I'm a GM it cost me nothing to bring this kid in to see what's actually going on.
To be fair to Gordon does he even have/still have a drinking problem? Wasnt he cleared of the DUI a few weeks back?
Antonio Brown has multiple seasons of All-Pro caliber play under his belt. His production warrants dealing with the behavior. Wilson has played 3 games ever, isn't in football shape, and refused to show up to even the most basic of obligations for his last 2 teams. It's just not even a comparable situation. Again, if he calls us and wants to tryout with no contact, then sure, kick the tires and see if he's straightened out. Otherwise, I see no reason for Denver to throw him a lifeline at this point. He has to want it and seek out an opportunity himself if he's gonna stay in the league.
Pretty sure melvin Gordon has high af not drunk. Which is why he got it knocked down. The blood alcohol test was a no. Then too late to test for the thc. I think he has a Marijuana problem not drinking.
