Is he? Your best DL should be better at sacking QB’s than he is at passes defended.

If Reed is so great trade up to the Bears for Two 1st round picks, he’s a luxury.
Not advocating for losing Von, but emotion should never run a franchise.
i don't wanna lose him, either-- but that cap number needs to come down. . . can't have a 32-year-old who has like 9 sacks the past two seasons counting 20 million against your cap. . . not in a year where there are a glut of available edge rushers headed to the market. . . that math doesn't work. . .
that's kind of the point. . . he wasn't worth 20 million in '19, and missed all of '20. . . it's been years since he played at the 1st team all pro level that you should be getting for that kind of scratch. . . do you think he can get back to that level at his age, coming off an injury, in a defense that doesn't necessarily plays to his strengths all the time? if not, his cap number isn't favorable. . .

Ian Rapoport hopped on the latest episode of the Locked On Broncos podcast with analyst Cody Roark to preview the Broncos’ impending off-season.
During the interview, Rapoport opened by talking about the decision the Broncos will have to make on Von Miller’s upcoming contract option.
“Von Miller has a team option that now, they need to figure out and see if they’re gonna pick it up, if they’re gonna do a new contract, if they’re going to work on things,” Rapoport said. “Like what are they actually going to do? I know he wants to be back, I know they would want him back. I just think they would like to figure this out somehow.”
That bodes very well for Broncos Country as it seems Miller should remain a ‘Bronco for life.’
