It's also a competitive advantage in a game if you know your opponent's injuries and they don't know yours. This doesn't only affect FF/gambling. If your QB is too hurt to play this week and you don't report it, your opponent spends the whole week preparing for a guy who won't even play.

That's why it'd be much more exciting if teams were allowed to lie about their injuries.

Have you ever heard of workers compensation? Good luck going to work injured. Any operation worth ANYTHING will not risk a WC case. And besides, the nfl is not a reg workplace.

Well his rings obviously aren't a coincidence and even us old Patriots haters have to admit the guy is a great QB with a presence that draws a core of great players around him to rack up trophies.
