#Avs confirm passing of former legendary GM and team president Pierre Lacroix. Damn. He was huge figure in NHL. Brought first pro sports title to Colorado when Avs won the crown. RIP. #Denver7
NHL journal: Avalanche will land in middle of NHL realignment

Really sad to hear of Pierre passing. That man was a legend and should be enshrined in the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

The National Hockey League announced the game times for its 2020-21 regular season schedule today, with the Colorado Avalanche set to open the 56-game slate on Wednesday, Jan. 13 against the St. Louis Blues at 8:30 p.m. MT at Ball Arena.
The Avs will play a total of eight day games (local start time before 5 p.m.), including back-to-back matinees against the Blues in St. Louis on Feb. 6-7.
Colorado's 56-game schedule will consist entirely of divisional games, as the NHL realigned into four new divisions this year. The Avs will face fellow West Division foes Anaheim, Arizona, Los Angeles, Minnesota, St. Louis, San Jose and Vegas eight times apiece (four home/away).
Can't wait for Wednesday!!!
Avalanche opener will not be available locally on NBC Sports Network
NBC pulled the game from its exclusive list; Altitude will now produce it locally

That Altitude fiasco has to be infuriating for folks there.
All the more reason for people to start streaming. One day you will come around. Until then everyone will get bent over by super high pricing and dicked around when they cannot figure out contracts
Hope we have a great season. Been too long.
