Chris Rupp - I have followed this immensely talented musician and singer for some time.
No one feels his music more than Chris, and he shows why Chopin is my favorite.
WTE, I didn't have you pegged as a lover of the arts. But I bet someone else had you pegged.
I've got the andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante on repeat...I want to steal that melody line and use it in a song (@8:51...unreal)
Here's a young lady with a very bright future. The sound reproduction isn't very good, but her play is wonderful.
RIP Topper. :werd:
So I have some time on my hands and I've been hitting the piano hard. I'm working on these three right now, about 25%, 50%, and 75% progress respectively. I used to be able to bang the Chopin prelude but I quit playing altogether these past five+ years and...use it or lose it.
I was a concert level performer and quit at 18. Music is such a draining way to make a living. Haven't touched an instrument sense. The best music comes from the imagination of the mind. You can do so much with them...but they provided me...such scant joy.
Making uuuuuuuuuge strides in those three above, also working on a fourth:
While I think Chopin sounds the best on piano and Schubert is the most...interesting somehow, I enjoy playing Bach and Mozart the most.
