So this is cool. Hall of Famer Bruce Smith is at #Broncos practice #Denver7
Any thoughts on why Nick Williams would ask to be cut? Think he has a better shot at making a team elsewhere?

Broncos rookie receiver Juwann Winfree not only wants to make the 53-man roster, he wants to be active on game day.
That’s why his tackle in punt coverage against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night was so important.
Four receivers are locks to be active — Emmanuel Sanders, Courtland Sutton, DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick. The Broncos need their fifth receiver to be a core special teamer even if he’s not a returner.
Hes going to make the team for sure. He looks good. I like him a lot. Definitely a pleasant surprise.
Lock kinda looks like cutler. Winfree wears 15 and was a late round pick whom is/could blossom......I don't know. Seems like Karma is coming back to us for the Cutler to Marshall connection. I am just saying.
if that's how it works, i hope malik reed is dumervil. . .
good on j-dub for putting in work on special teams. . . you need those guys, and it buys him time to develop as a position player. . . i consistently say you don't need to spend high draft picks on receivers. . . there are always later round guys who can be developed. . . the steelers crank out better WRS than anyone, and when's the last time they spent a 1st on one?
