He will be ready to start for us during the last quarter of the season. I'm not saying we will need/want/whatever that to happen, but that's where I see his trajectory.
Everyone knows that Johnny Utah was a better QB than Shane Falco.
That would be awesome because they might need him bad by then. I get the feeling that for all the changes this offense does not look like it's going to score more than about 16 points a game.
They could wind up week one losing 18-16 or something while Joe Flacco throws for 215 yards, no TDs and 1 Int.
I'm just hoping they don't get off to a slow start because the general faith in the fans and media is about 1" deep and a mile wide. Everybody has faith it will be OK, mainly because Elway replaced Pinnochio with a real coach in Fangio.
But if the team isn't good week 1 and the offense struggles to start the season, doesn't look in sync ?
If they start the season 0-2 it would not normally be the end of the world. Lots of teams do that and still make the playoffs. 0-2 isn't a death sentence. But here? Panic time!
