I wouldn't have a problem with it, no. But I don't think it's an unreasonable argument for not maxing Harden and getting something in return for him.
20/20 hindsight is too easy.

i hammered the move at the time, so definitely no hindsight here. . .
and i like adams a lot, but IMO he's scant compensation for the opportunities they may have lost when they let harden go-- steve's a nice role player, but him and that old-ass flopper shooting guard they rented for a year or two? for harden, a guy who was second in the MVP race a year ago, even if he is a no defense chump? nah, i think you guys got worked on that one about five times as hard as you just worked orlando. . . JMO, obviously, and it's all moot discussion at this point. . .
to get this thread going again, here's to the golden state team bus accidentally driving in to the bay. . .
I've been kicking NTL in the nuts about Harden for a couple of years now, but it just feels gratuitous at this stage.
You don't build a contender around a guy like James Haren.
Wade signing with Chicago, per Woj.
As soon as OKC let Harden leave they showed Durant they didn't really care about winning but instead cared about winning for the right price. Man oh man, I can't believe I was blind to it.
from the dumpster fire waiting to happen files; ty lawson has just signed with sacramento. . . lulz. . . what could possibly go wrong there?
