wow, I can't see it happening. No depth and the defense just isn't good enough. It's hard to have a deep enough roster when 5 players make 80% of the salary

I don't think we will, either. Remember when old boy's goal hit off one post to the other? that felt like the turning point of the series. In a sense we've won series in the past where we had to tighten up and play perfect; it's a time or type of reliance upon our experience. Well that style also kind of relies upon a team making a few key mistakes and Saint Louis is playing out of their minds. The optimist in me thinks this series could play out like the Ducks series last year or the Red Wing series a few years ago. So there is that.
I never count them out but they just don't look as good as the Blues. Lost too many good players...
Remember how the Sharp/Johns trade wasnt going to work out for the Stars. And the Oduya signing.
I don't think anyone said it wasn't going to work out for the Stars, I simply said I liked Daley when you said he was horrible. I still like Daley and he is doing a fine job for the Penguins. Sharp and Oduya are good players, why wouldn't it work?
There's not much the Hawks can do, they win cups and the vultures start circling for their players... thats how the NHL is set up. You know the best, I think Dallas has all of 2 or 3 players that they actually drafted. As long as there is a low cap, RFA offer sheets, a retarded salary-roster structure, and an antiquated draft system; teams that win a lot will lose their players to lesser teams. The NBA has it right, the NHL needs to look at their roster salary rules.
Chaz is trying to style on me. It's because he hate me, Weazel.
he sorry
Flyers and Capitals come out swinging.
So the Red Wings and Flyers are out. Preds lost 3 straight. Continuing the trend of dooming teams I cheer for.
There was someone in particular that said Sharp was a waste and was "done". Wasnt you, so no need to be defensive.
As far as Stars drafted players...that shit will happen when you have a GM that was clueless and made dumb deals and draft picks...then move on to a new GM that has to clean up the mess. But I do agree with all sports moving in the direction the NBA went.
Kinger, good news... Teraveinen is in the pressbox tonight! He's been horrible this entire series and refuses to get dirty. Fleishman playing on second line in his place. Expect to see Shaw there as well though
