Not sure what this is. It's red, but it doesn't have the black head, so I don't think it's a cardinal. I saw this guy this morning.

I'd like to contribute to this thread, but the only thing going on in my backyard is magpies eating a dead rabbit. 4th one this year, and counting!
Oh, and with the heat, my grass looks like beef. Aka, shit.
They're actually really pretty birds, but nasty as hell.

I don't have a backyard anymore. Just bars, diners and distillerys. There was a moose a couple months ago though.
