OK, I'm an ole hide but if history repeats itself then we are priviledged to see it again. My mother, now deceased, personally adopted John Elway and gave him the same considerations as she did her children. Loyalty, compassion and understanding. She always admired his "own man" attitude. So, naturally I now follow in her footsteps. Not because "all of a sudden" Tim Tebow is changing football but because he is real. Tebowing in a world filled with violence, anger and me-ism, has him standing proud of being "his own man". I for one, admire and respect his attitude and his "unconventional" ability. I use him as an example to my grandson, striving as a sophmore on the Rye High School basketball team and struggling with confidence. Told him to look at Tim and go within himself and do his best. Tim Tebow is more than a quarterback. He's an example to all of us to make a stand and have the gutts to keep going. I thank John Elway and Tim Tebow for years of education on living.
