Not sure if you got this, "conversation" isn't intuitive. It's my first comment.

"Legal advice vs. friendly advice: legally--any piece of paper etc that says 'haha you can't sue me' is great. Shit changes and blue turns black when straits get dire. Friendly advice--if you are a relationship person and value those relationships as the special sauce that gives you an edge, lean into it.

Bottom line, even an email that says 'hey, despite the risks, what do y'all think about doing this [once a week/periodically/with restrictions]' that will serve as a waiver or assumption of risk.

Everyone on the planet is going through this. Be a courteous and thoughtful human about it and, with proper representation, you'll come out fine no matter how weird it goes. But if you think someone won't bat an eye by signing a 'I promise not to sue you' thing, then do it (every time)."

The weird part is the 'signing'. If it's explicitly a waiver or a release of liability, that's kind of a moment when they say 'huh'. And I know you are reluctant to force that. So what I'm suggesting is a bit of a 'I'm giving notice of these risks' without requiring a signature. Just their response and acknowledgment. There's a subtle difference, but it's the one you have to make--relationship vs. iron shield.

I'm driving to Santa Clara CA. After I got gas in Rawlins WY my battery light came on. So I drove to Rock Springs and found a local auto repair place. It's my alternator and thank goodness I stopped and they figured it out. It's being repaired so I'll be one road again soon. Just pray the deer stay off the road tonight. Thanks for caring! I had talked to Champ a bunch when he played. He signed several jerseys for me so I could donate them to Mecklenburgs reading program. I was able to share that each Jersey funded a entire grade for the year in DPS. He almost teared up and thanked me telling him. I've missed you guys. Will try to make more time to stayed connected. Just traveling so much this year and I'm kind of over it...��

I still don't post photos..lol. got to talk to Champ over the weekend and had a blast with several alumni, right place and knew someone. He's been on my case since the Paxton lynch thread. It's just trolling on his part. He's trying to see if he can get me worked up and angry like I would have been by this time last season.

Given a little more time, and a little less self awareness on my part and he'd get what he's hoping for. Just putting him on iggy. I don't want drama this year, from me or anyone else.
