Yep, agreed.

Sorry for the delayed response, I passed out after the game last night. So, I really think it's a combination of factors. More than anything, I just look at it as an accumulation of frustration. We haven't had quality QB play since the first half of 2014-- after Peyton hurt his quad, it's been7 1/2 seasons of wounded ducks. I don't think people dislike Ted more than the other guys, it's just frustration boiling over. It's not like football fans are patient people by nature to begin with! Most of us are spoiled brats with unreasonable expectations, who don't have the wisdom that you do to just appreciate the moment.

I also think that people are willing to have at least a little more patience with a young guy like Trevor or Drew, than an 8-year vet who's still making the same mistakes you get with inexperienced guys, like not recognizing the blitz pre-snap, missing open receivers, etc. IMO, another factor is that those teams weren't very good rosters over all, while this one has a lot of talent and potential. Peeps feel like QB play is holding back a team with a good defense and run game, so Teddy gets a little extra venom. And the way he refused to make the tackle in the Eagles game hasn't endeared him to the fan base either. That's what I think.

P, I gotta go run errands, then meet some friends for lunch. I'll try to take a stab at it later this afternoon. I won't promise any brilliant psychoanalysis, though. . .

Yep. Weatherly and Young have both made solid contributions, and we got both of them dirt cheap. I hope they re-sign both of them, linebacker has been a problem spot for years. Can't wait to see what Paton can do with extra picks in the 2nd and 3rd next year.

Seriously, really glad you got to have such a good time. This team is so inconsistent, you never know what you're going to get. But I am super pumped about this draft class.
