I do really like One Republic. I have a wide range of music I like. In the genre's I don't like at all (rap and country), there are few exceptions to my rules. lol

Yes, he's a big name. He's out of baseball now, but was one of the Braves great pitchers. At one time (80's and 90's), they had one of the best starting rotations in baseball, mostly because of Maddox, Glavine and Smoltz. After starting for the Braves for about a dozen years, he tore an elbow ligament and had Tommy John surgery. When he returned, they made him a closer, and for three or four years, he was one of the most dominant closers in baseball. Then, they moved him back to starting for three years or so. I think he retired after last season.

I know Smoltz is a big time golfer. When he, Glavine and Maddox were all on the Braves, the three of them supposedly always golfed on day they weren't pitching.

Tahoe sounds like I should be there......bummer. As for AJ, I hope he can follow through with your request. In the mean time, Im waiting for the day that Denver plays Chicago again. Id love to have the Broncos demoralize Cutler to the max.

Meanwhile, I hope our young team turns out some real players. I hope Tebow can be all he can be, if you know what I mean. Have a great day, and if you ever make it to the islands, you for sure have to come over for a cookout down at the beach!

I have never heard of Rascal Flats, but then again, I have only listned to talk radio (sports or news) for years now. It's still cool though that you met them. Definately not small time with 10 semi's and 4 buses.

I didn't even know the Tahoe tourney was this weekend. Bummer. I didn't set it up to tape. I'm in southern Germany right now, a part of Bavaria called Allgau. I wish I had known, I would love to have taped it. As I mentioned, I love that tourney.
