Interesting point about using the picks, but I would say a cheap filler player costs less overall than a high draft pick. I think a first round OT would cost more than the guy you signed to play RT. I would guess that your GM has an approximate view of how much money should be spent on each level of a side of the ball, each side of the ball overall, etc. DOn't get me wrong, I thought you should have taken an OT. This draft had a lot of them. Cross would typically have been a top three OT. This year he wasn't. Shit, the second rounders were grading out as late first rounders on some reports. I feel you.
