Well, right now I can't ask for too much... but maybe for my Bday. They are damn cool... One of these days, I'll get my real one up and running... then I will be the master...
It doesn't have to be on your list of priorities when Christmas is coming!! I have the Anakin Skywalker blue, which is cool because it doubles as Luke's. It's in excellent shape and it's now 4+ years old, but it has a small scratch on the blade that bothers the **** out of me. I got it as a gift too (was $80 special on QVC when ROTS came out, was a steal), I can't pay $100+ for a lightsaber. BUT THAT'S WHAT CHRISTMAS AND B'DAYS ARE FOR!! They are ****ing awesome, and a must-have for any SW fan that ever wanted the coolest fictional weapon ever made. Yeah, it's for kids. That's Lucas' prime goal for marketing most things, I think. Worked well for him so far. I am hoping this will be more adult-centric. Doesn't have to be too dark... but if they make it as serious as some of the shows out there... 24, etc... it could rule. The wikipedia page I read said Lucas will be writing and producing the first season before handing it off... I'm sure that gets mixed reviews from many.
Man I hope so. The last good Star Wars is just some video games, I think too much of the Clone Wars went to exclusive marketing for kids. There is so much material there for great things the heights could be unimaginable.
Just checked, and the first thing that popped up said it was scheduled for 2010. Hope it still happens.
