Apparently TX couldn't start the thread and since it's technically game day on the east coast, I figured I'd get it fired up!

We still control our own destiny and hopefully we can dispatch of Philly and not have to worry about what anyone else does.

And here's to a happy return to Philly for Dawk and Buck!

It's a beautiful day to be a Broncos fan!

GO BRONCOS!!!

LMAO I was just about to start one but I guess it's better that I wait until i'm not a noob here.

This might be the first broncos game i've missed since in 3 seasons! I never have to work on sundays since then as it's usually my only day off but i've got to work it this week! I wonder if they'll let me bring my tv in.

dawk & dume are going to have to show up. i have zero faith in our offense right now. i can see dawkins having the game of his life this game. their wr's are banged up a bit and westbrook has had 2 concusions this year so he wont be himself.

broncos win: 24 to 17

I have very little faith that we will win this game. Just a combination of the deflating loss killing our momentum and the offense's complete inability to do anything when they need to over the past couple weeks has me feeling pretty down. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Are you in Rapid City yet?? If you are Mother Nature welcomed you with a good one:lol:!! Actually it sucked, we got a little over 2 ft of snow here and I'm sore as hell this morning from shoveling(I'm in pretty good shape) even though my neighbor helped with his snowblower and I still have a little more to do this morning!!

As of now, I'm going with BRONCOS 29 Eagles 23 . I don't know what to think because it's a make or break game for the BRONCOS and if they don't show up shame on them. Oh well, I have some Capt Morgan/coke awaiting and will be watching.!!

Nope. I won't be in Rapid City until late Feb-early March. My wife was here for the week and flew home yesterday. She had to stay the night at the airport in Minneapolis because her flight to Rapid got canceled due to weather. We had our own weather here in Abilene on Thursday though. We got about six inches of snow. It's not uncommon for it to snow here a time or four during the winter, but in the six years since I've been here I've NEVER seen that much snow at one time. They're already forecasting a worse snow storm here on Tuesday.

But yeah, the weather in Rapid City sucked yesterday. The wife was talking to some dude that is on her flight to Rapid that lives in base housing on Ellsworth and he said his wife told him there's a 12' snow drift in front of the house. My poor wife is going to have to shovel snow when she gets home in a couple of hours.

You're brave for picking Denver to win this one. After they lost to Oakland last weekend, I fully expect nothing good from them in these last two games.

It would be extremely disappointing to see the BRONCOS come in as a limp noodle and I mean losing by 10 or more!! If they do this, the BRONCOS deserves all the negatives and tongue lashings.

This is a must win for us. Regardless of how the other teams vying for a playoff spot do today, we need a big win on the road against a playoff caliber opponent to get our mometum back for a playoff push. If we can't win games on the road (which we will be if we get in as a wild card) against good teams late in the year, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Backing into the playoffs is not what we need to do.

We control our destiny right now. Here's to the offense scoring some TDs and getting the run game going!

It is a must win in my book, maybe not according to the math, but if we lose more than likely we're out. I don't see all those teams losing plus it's pathetic having to rely on them in the first place when they choked last week!! If they come out flat in this game, I'll be pissed and disappointed knowing what's at stake because Philly isn't that good!! Then we'll be calling for Cowher:D....I'm just kidding for all you people who have no sense of humor!!

And to add to the last part: here's to the :defense: allowing minimal points!!

Philly still has their division and a first round bye to play for so I don't buy the "we're gonna win because we have more to play for" argument. Both teams have a lot to play for.

I don't think Philly has much chance at a first round bye, but they clinch the East with a win and Cowboys loss/tie.

They won't come out flat, not at the Link, and we'll have to play one of our best games to beat them.

Hmm, I haven't considered that possibility. In that case, we need to root for KC to finish off Cincy!

EDIT: Nevermind, Pitt can't win the division, the best they could do is finish with the same record as Cincy and they got swept by Cincy. So no, that won't work.

I dunno...if the Broncos had the playoffs locked up and a team was coming in to play us fighting for the 6 spot, I'd be nervous. I think we have A LOT more to play for, including not sitting at home another year. Especially after a 6-0 start. I think McD has this team ready today. Next week against KC will just be the icing on the cake (I hope...) :D
