Broncos guard Chris Kuper might have the most unusual stat line of the season: zero carries, zero receptions, 7 yards.
Kuper was running up the field looking for someone to block on the Broncos' final offensive play Sunday in Indianapolis when wide receiver Brandon Marshall pitched the ball to him as Marshall was being tackled.
Kuper, 6-feet-4 and 303 pounds, cradled the ball in his arms and ran for 7 yards before going down short of a first down.
He said he hadn't seen the replay but that he had gotten several messages about his lone carry.
So, what kind of reviews did he get as a running back?
"Unfavorable," he said.
Game in Philly pushed back.
The opening kickoff of the Broncos' game in Philadelphia on Dec. 27 has been pushed back from 11 a.m. MST to 2:15 p.m. and will be nationally televised.
The game had been a candidate for NBC's prime-time flex scheduling, but CBS likely was able to protect the game to keep it on its network.
Injury report.
Denver coach Josh McDaniels said fullback, linebacker and special-teams ace Spencer Larsen is expected to be fine after leaving Sunday's game against the Colts after the opening kickoff with what the Broncos called a back injury. . . . Running back Correll Buckhalter and safety Renaldo Hill likely will be questionable for Sunday's home game against Oakland. Each player sprained his right ankle.
