What does everyone think about trading our 1st round pick in 2008 for a first round pick in 2009 and a 2nd round pick in 2008 because there's way more talent in 2009 than in 2008 and we would still have two first day picks just in the 2nd round?

What makes you think 2009 is stacked with talent? Most of the Juniors declared this year.... Unless your looking for an Ohio State player... this is the year to draft.

i dont like it, and the only team i think we could gurantee that will still be crappy next year is the raiders, and they wont trade with us, or visa versa.

rey muauluga, chris wells, c.j. spiller, james layrinatis, sean lee, brian cushing, taylor mays, al woods, george selvie, senderrick marks, william moore, knowshon moreno, darry beckwith, myron rolle, fili moala, michael johnson, tyson jackson, percy harvin, darius- heyward bay, michael crabtree, jeremy maclin, kam chancellor just to name a few and maybe even an extra 3rd round pick in 2008 imagine 2 of these guys on our teams there is no talent in this year's draft only depth although i wouldn't mind drafting ryan clady in the 1st.

Not a very impressive list.

About the only thing better in next years draft if MLB.

Knowshon will only be a sophmore

I wouldnt mind trading for another first for the 2017 draft. That is assuming the boy in your sig can play DT. He looks to be off to a great start!

and safety and defensive tackle and wide receiver and runningback and outside linebacker this year is a lot of depth, but no clear-cut star and not a lot of talent just a bunch of depth maybe offensive tackle is better this year and cornerback and defensive end, but that is it.

We were 7-9 last year.

Maybe we should continue to trade our #1 until we go 2-14?

No thanx. A number of those names would have to declare as juniors...which is no guarantee. I think this draft is plenty deep...especially for our needs like LB and OT. The only issue is that 12 does not sem to be a "value" spot for DTs.

Anything to get us more picks I am down with, either this year or next.

No thanks. We need help now, for next year. Plenty of talent in this year's draft.
