Now Joe, the last thing we need tonight is to give Niner a heart attack.

You pansies dont know what back pain is.

Bob Knight is a GREAT basketball coach. He can do more with less than anyone in the NCAA. I really hope this isnt a scandal.

Great coach, but man what a temper. Quite a sense of entitlement as well.

No scandals. SOP is for a coach to leave in the middle of the year so his hand picked replacement will have a seamless transition, which in this case is his son.

In a heartbeat. He gets killed by the media, but he one of the few coaches that demand accountability in the classroom. If you go to Indiana, you are going to graduate.

Beef would've loved Bob. Remeber Bob "playfully" whipping one of his players in practice at The Pit during the NCAA Tourn in the 1990's.

I knew a guy that played for him at TTU. Knight got him a sweet job after he finished up school. Dude is as loyal as they come.

Compare him to scoundrals like Coach K, Boehiem and Calhoun.

If you compiled a list of best coaches all-time of every single sport... Bobby Knight would be in my top 5.

There are a few truly great college coaches of our time, and Bobby Knight is one of those. In my mind, Coach Knight represents everything good about intercollegiate athletics. His pursuit of excellence with integrity is uncanny. Mr. Knight is much more than a great coach, he is a leader, a man of conviction, integrity, and toughness.

Just don't have him hunt next to your house or he might shoot his shotgun in your direction. Gun safety is not his forte.
