Thats right Jay overrated Cutler

14 tds 17 ints

and two 4 int games, including (5 last night) this year. The last time a Bear QB did that was 1962

but Jay is going to lead Chicago to the playoffs  maybe on Madden if he was playing on PS3

Alex,

Who is Jay "Jeff George" Cutler for $500?

AT this point it is an insult to Jeff George, who actually made the playoffs and I am sure did not have two 4 int games in 9 starts in one year.

George had 4 INTs in a game only once.... the second game of his career.

George > Cutler. George was just a Douche of All Douches. If he listened and cooperated and was non-confrontational with his coaches, he would've had more playoff games. Cutler has other issues besides his Douchality.

I remember seeing him and June Jones going at it on the sidelines...guess he didn't have much respect for a coach named June.

Overkill hatred on Cutler.

George's records...

5-7
1-15
6-4
2-9
7-9
9-7
0-3
4-12
0-3
4-12
3-4
8-2
1-4
0-2

I suppose that 8-2 record in his 12 season was decent.

In summary... Cutler's in his 4th season?

George's record through 4 seasons was 14-35

Cutler's to date is 21-25 with games to play.

9-7

That's George's best 16 game season. Cutler SHOULD surpass this, he has about 7 years to do so and my strike gold with better quality around him. But ten years from now, would you be surprised if 7-9 was his best 16 game season?

my question is will he make it 10 years in Chicago to find out before they jump ship on him? how long did Grossman last there before they ran him off?

Cutler is a turnover machine and sucks and played on pretty good teams

George played on horrid Indy teams and then mediocre Atl teams and then bad Oak teams.

They both suck to me but George is not a pickoff machine like the hallowed Jay is.

Well, Ayers scored a touchdown and Orton is 6-2 as a starting quarterback, so I guess I would disagree.

6-2 as a starting QB and people are calling for his head. What does that say?

Yes Ayers scored a TD, good heads up play (kinda).

Didn't Ayers make that sack and the forced fumble that was returned for a touchdown this last game?

so what? big deal. hell people were calling for trent dilfer's head in Baltimore the year they won the super bowl.

I'm not real happy with Orton's performance and yes I'm borderline ont he edge of the cliff about benching him, but i also realize he just went up against the best 2 defenses we'll face all year, and QB's do have slumps...(:listen: look at Jay Cutler after all...he's not even played anyone really impressive on defense except the Bengals, and he still sucks.)

I think Orton will bounce back.

Neither has Chicago's #1, oh wait, maybe next year, oh wait and neither has the guy they sold the farm for.

Ravage!!!

Thats actually not true. Dilfer didn't play for Baltimore the year before they won the Super Bowl... and he didn't start the season as their starter the year they did. In Fact.. they replaced him the season after winning the super bowl.

Cutler hasn't played well this year.. but he (jay) faced and BEAT the Pittsburgh Steelers this year while with the Bears.... the team our offense got completely shut down by.

jay cutler leads the league........

IN PICKS !
i still think jay has alot of talent....but i cant help smiling when he chokes like he did last night.
the really sad part for him is i think mcD would have been a perfect coach for a guy like him.all he really needs is someone who can teach him when to use his powers for good and when to just take what the defense gives him.
mcD and jay could have been the next walsh/montana belicheck/brady dynamic duo !
the decision to leave could be the difference between jay becoming a hall of famer and becoming a ........pouting what might have been story!:tsk:

Orton has played well and helped win you games that Cutler couldn't. Ayers is a rookie LB who isn't exactly tearing it up but what did you expect? As far as the number one pick goes, that's fine and all, I get your point. That being said, if you were to argue with the Cutler haters (that includes me) that you have to give Cutler time (and I don't know if you have or have not made that argument) then you kind of have to give those guys some time.

Claymore, I know you like Cutler, I know that you in the past have tried to move on about a player that you love, I know your pain. T.J. Houshamazadeh is HATED by most Cincinnati fans right now and I take up for him, but I am going to make you an offer; I will buy you an authentic Kyle Orton jersey.

Cant compare Grossman and Cutler. And Grossman was given a ton of chances. Grossman lost me on NYE 2006 with his post game comments. Cowherd summed up m feelings best with the following.
