probably damn tired from being on the field too long with the rest of the defense.

the DNA tests came back with conclusive evidence-- despite some rumors to the contrary, champ is, in fact, a human being. . .

Maybe he was more worried about his kids missing and wondering what his crazy ex wife was doing. I know he is a professional but I find it hard to believe it wasn't on his mind.

Excellent observation and in fact, I forgot about that.

Do you think it was that much of a distraction?

You would think he would use that.

He was trying to cover a much younger WR and tackle a much younger RB...I think they both proved to be more than he could handle...no shame in that really..it happens.

Dortoh wants to move him for a 7th rounder.

C'mon guys. There was probably a secret blood donation drive a week before the game. :pound:

I think it was painfully obvious on Monday night that we released the wrong cb on Friday.

You know Buff I take great offense to that. People will think I dont understand football when you say things like that.......pfft like we could get a 7th rounder after Monday nights game what do you take me for :tsk:

Champ didn't suck overnight. This is ridiculous. He's entitled to a bad game. The thing with his kids could've been a factor too. I know he's up in mileage, but still. I think he'll bounce back.

There were some zone defenses where he wasn't in single coverage, but nearby so he gets "credit" for looking bad there. Also, the deep ball, IMHO, was perfect timing by Pittsburgh. If you watch the replay, Champ was coming up to the line and wasn't yet set when the ball was snapped. Although he was in front of the WR, he was out of position cuz his body's momentum was going forward and he got beaten immediately. Kind of a flukey play, but a good one by Pitt nonetheless.

He's still very good, but he isn't the guy he used to be. Yes, there were a few times he was playing zone and got credited for being burnt or what not.

You can't name five corners better than Bailey in today's NFL.

Do you have any kids? I assure you it was a distraction but Champ would never blame even a fraction of his performance on the situation.

If that was the issue I'm not questioning it, I was just wondering if that would affect his play.

And yes I have a son, and if he was missing it would be very tough.

Dre is a pimp. Roddy had no right interrupting his TD celebration a mere 70 yards from the endzone. White has no class.
