Ode to my fellow Freaks, and new friends
BRONCOS COUNTRY
With Broncos in common, we all sit in our spaces.
A confident, not cocky crowd, surviving all our own races.
We answer to no one, for no one can hear calls,
when theres pounding in our ears, coming from yon orange and blue stalls.
So only when whispers, echo our hearts beyond reason
with far thundering hooves, from the prior years season
do we suddenly grow restless, and bite down hard on the bit
of every work days boredom, chewed hard through and then spit!
We rise from our every day, cause we each know our standing,
Brings brighter hues to the colors, that infuse each mans branding.
We stand quiet, but its so LOUD, we can each hear our hearts.
Pounding out Broncos rhythms, as the new season starts.
Our paths are well worn by feet, that show no cowardly mans slow gait.
We rush towards the fight with glee, you better believe we-cant-wait!
Yes, it will be tooth and nail, but each gaze ice-cold-steady
We're long in battle tested, and scarred rough, and war ready.
We're loud sons. And proud sons. And we aint all that pretty.
But this is BRONCOS COUNTRY youre standin in, and if you aint got colors?
