I DONT LIKe it that whenever my wife and I get into the sack or about too, that the "stomaches" act up and we only can do missionary or spoon. Heaven help us that more than half should be able to go in.:Tsk:

Just for the record i didnt start this thread, someone edited it in as mine. I did apologise to UA as i didnt mean to hijak his thread, because i actually liked it, and just thought it would be funny to add a comical spin to it. And then actaully post with what he meant. Because he has a great point that i agreed with.

We really should have deleted everything about my remarks and left the original "good one" standing, instead of this. But since we dont need to make more work for MOD. Hows about Underarmour you just make another one, and i promise i wont hijak it.

First, I don't like playing cop, but I think because we are in the middle of defining some of the ground rules for the forums (such as the profanity/acronym Town Hall thread), the mods find themselves stuck between old rules and trying to see where the new ones will fall.

HOWEVER, at this time describing sexual acts is not on the table to discuss, and possibly never will be. Bottom line, I don't want anything even bordering on being sexually explicit enough that I could have legal ramifications for providing this site, but not having age checks in place.

While I don't believe this crosses to the line of getting me in legal trouble on a non-age-verified site, it is getting close enough that it serves as a good example of what isn't' ok, and further our rules state:


4. No use of obscene language, photos, links to obscene language or photos, or anything that would be considered offensive. -- {final decisions on what is or is not obscene will be made by the Board of Advisors.}

6. Avatars and Signatures: You may not have obscene or sexually explicit images in your avatars or signatures. In addition, you may not include statements designed to flame or attack other members or pictures or statements that have no purpose other than to inflame individuals or the community at large.

That's a little too close to what has been classified as obscene for my taste (as the person who's name is associated with the site) and in terms of what would offend many of our members.

So, this isn't meant to call out underrated29, as others have been pushing the envelope as well. Unfortunately, I can't give you a "this is ok" and "this is not ok", but as an example, the quoted statement was 'too' explicit for this site.

We 'can' have a Town Hall meeting on anything that the community wants to talk about. Meaning, anyone can request a discussion. However, I don't see the advisory board initiating one on sexualy explicit language, so if it is started, it will be by someone else.

The only things I have stipulated when I gave over control of the running of this message board to the advisory board is:


I can veto any decision made that will put me in legal or financial jeopardy.

I have a permanent seat on the advisory board.

The advisory board's job is to implement the wishes and desires of the community at large (to the best of their ability), not base decisions on their own (advisory boards) opinions.


I have no desire to run an adult oriented site (legal headache), so therefore sexually explicit language (depicting sex acts) would likely never be allowed, because not only could it offend a great many people, but it could put me in harms way.

Anyway, back to your normally scheduled pet peeve thread...
