Who all wants to get together & go to the Panther roast in Carolina?

Barring major tragedy, the ONLY way I'm not there is if it's in late December and the weather is too bad for the drive. This is the 1 I want to be at the most. As posted elsewhere, I am hoping the Vols are home the day prior. It's a short 4 hour drive from Knoxville to Charlotte.

Hopefully, there will soon be a taligating/gathering page on this site. It has been requested. Once made, we can shift this discussion there.

No, Clay, we are going to fly. Screw the drive. Especially for the ATL game. MARTA is awesome from the airport.

You might need to hold me. Ive had several high altitude emergencies, and saw flames and carnage just after the TWA Flight 800 headed to Cairo crashed in the Atlantic.

PS i have to be drunk to get on the plane, so I may need a piggy back ride.

This one is about a 150 a night and you can get them right in Charlotte.

only problem is they usually have a 3 night minimum PLUS mileage. Now mileage is close, but I don't need it for 3 nights.

When a buddy and I went up to Green Bay to watch the Broncos a couple years ago, all the diehards bought old bread trucks. Painted them and made em sweet.

I was also looking at used U-haul type trucks. I could set up the dish and have seating and a big screen in the back. Dude right beside us in Detroit had one. It was pretty smooth.

 Damn you plan early.
I always wait til the scheduled dates come out before I make my plans.

I usually go to 3-5 home games a year and then a new stadium in December.
So if its in December I might travel out to Caralina. :elefant:

Thatbe fun
