You guys think he will play next season at 100%?

And was he better than say Gold Winborn or Webster?

You asked if we think he will be back next season.... my guess is no... what verification do I need?

I'd like to see him back. We were kind of friends in college. Aside from personal bias...I think he's better than Gold and Winborn. At least as good as Webster.

He was better than Gold and Webster, but I also don't think that's saying a whole lot.

His injury isn't much different from the ones that have apparently ended Mobley's and Wilson's careers.

A spinal cord injury that won't let you play for at least 3 months?

I liked Holdman, but he'll be lucky to play again. Don't wait around for him to ride in and save the day. Get another great LB in here (MAN, I wish Maualuga was coming out...) and let him compete with Winborn and Webster at the strong-side position if he can make it back.

He was ahead of Webster on the depth chart when he was injured. I think he would be a stronger Sam LB than Webster is.

I have to admit a bias in that I grew discusted with Webster's poor angles and over pursuit. Running backs continually started with an outside run and then cut it back underneath him for big gains.

In all fairness if we had a left defensive tackle half of those runs would have been not been a problem.

IMO Winborn in limited exposure played better than Gold. I still would like a high quality Will LB over either of them.:defense:

Let him go if he doesn't want to be a back up here next year.

Sign Boss Bailey (I'm sure Champ can persuade him to sign with us) draft a speedy LB with some size to man the other LB spot.

Not sure about Holdman did not see enough of him to make a comment.

I liked what I saw from Windborn Seems to be a BIG gold that can tackle.. Has about 30 pounds on him and sure looked as fast as Gold used to be..

If he was better he would still be on the team.

I was calling for Winborn from about the fourth game. He is active. Played pretty well on special teams too.

Holdman? Don't know much about him. Didn't see enough.

I think we need a major upgrade at linebacker through the draft.
