the broncos have climbed from #27 to #3 in 7 weeks while the bears have tumbled from 11 to 18

Technically we lost to the bye week. :eviltongue:

We entered the bye 3.5 games ahead of the Chargers and came out only 3 games ahead. Not that it was unexpected. The bye week did play the Chiefs after all.

IMHO it will depend on what the Colts and the Saints do. I can't really argue about 3rd in the rankings at this point. While we have looked very tough, We don't have any "flashy" wins at this point (well maybe SD). The Colts won while they only held the ball for 14 minutes and change. The Saints are putting up 45+ points on a regular basis. Until one of them loses, and we win, or we have one of those "wow" games of our own, it would be difficult to jump over them. Have we played theoretically tougher opposition? Yes. But there is no indication that the Saints and Colts couldn't have played our schedule and have the same number of wins that we do right now. It is OK though, keep the team hungry and keep giving Brian Dawkins reasons to get them fired up, I like it that way. :D
