I find the aggressive welcoming a little too strange and I will call attention to myself if and when I feel comfortable doing so. I currently feel strange responding to a thread on a personal level when I do not know any of the people welcoming me.

Well, these are people who care and want to reach out, which is why they do
"aggressively" welcomed you. :smile:

But if that is what you wish, sure. I speak for all of us when I say we just
want you to be happy here.

At other forums, there have been cases of a person starting a thread, let's say on a subject like Reputation Points, either to get people's opinions or to push his/her own agenda. Then, after 10's or even hundreds of replies have been added to the thread, if the OP get's pissed, or simply doesn't agree with the replies to the thread, they go and delete it, wiping out what is ofter very good conversation.

If a thread needs to be deleted, you will need to contact a mod or me, to delete it. If the thread is small, turned into something it wasn't intended (became an off topic flame fest) then it will be deleted, if the OP just wants to 'remove' opinions voiced that were not what had been hoped for, it will be left.

That is the way it stands now. However, like everything on this forum, it is open for discussion (not any more in CPRs thread ;), and if the consensus seems to be that we should change it, then it will be considered and likely changed.

I am barely active at Orangemane. Not exactly civil there. They have kind of a "we're the best board" attitude, in my opinion. Many there consistently put down the official forums, seemingly with disregard that those are fellow Bronco fans. Not that you have to like everyone, but hey, you do realize you have something in common?

Also, I never said I was shy. I simply want to be welcomed or not welcomed strictly on what I post, not just for the simple act of signing up.

Never been to the Mane but I like this board alot better than the
official board and I was still doing a little posting there and tried to
