Huh? That's interesting I suppose that he thinks that but I guess it's his right
to think that although I disagree with him...I guess I will go out on a limb here and say the Kansas City Chiefs are going to make the playoffs...hey just like the Raiders the Chiefs are on a winning streak...

We know that pedictions about making the playoffs don't always come true here in Broncos land. :tsk:

I think he's had one to many on the head.

I once saw a team lead the division for 16 weeks of the regular season and FAIL to make the playoffs. Anything's possible.

it's more a battle of continuing, proven trends vs. a player's overstated optimism... but i have to go to class now.

You're right. It's better for a player to have the mindset of playing for nothing with 10 games left.

Oakland is loaded with talent, enough to give anybody fits on a given Sunday.

But I've never seen a FO and coaching staff in such a disarray as that of the Raiders.

Therefore, I would bet against anything happening . . .

He has to figure out first that pulling hair and talking BS won't get him to the playoffs.

He has to figure out one guy with a big mouth can't get it done.

All other teams in their division below .500 throughout the entire season; needing only 1 win in the last 3 weeks or 1 loss by the Chargers during that time. I THINK there was a thread that compared that offense to the 1998 Vikings or something like that.

You know what Yogi Berra said about it being over.

Wow. Smack aside, I think that the Raiders are going to be hard press to make the P.O.s this year. Division is going to be extremely though to get, and Wildcards are extremely difficult to come by. They also dropped one to their current division leaders. If they had 2 to play against to the Broncos, the path to the division title would be a little more clear.

And they would have to overcome Russell's play.

Losing Washington and Kris Jenkins has hurt them though. I think they're done just because of that alone.

Yeah, that's rough. Jenkins could still get the job done and was a force. Defensive linemen don't really grow on trees. Then again, backs like Washington are easier to replace, but it's not like Washington wasn't a good player for them.
