How long would you say until we start having spammers?

I remember on BM it was almost a nightly thing, and I felt at first they did very little to stop it...and it ended up being a big pain in the butt for people to clean up. Has anyone here started thinking about it?

If you mean hit and run spammers or spambots, that create an account and post advertisements, we have had two, bot advertising shoes/sneakers.

Not sure if they were spambots or people. The captcha image thing is supposed to stop the spambots, but they may be getting better. Some forum now also ask you type in a short question, like, what color is the water and you type blue, or is the Earth round, and you type yes.

So, if it starts to get out of hand, we have a few more controls we can put in place to try and block them,

I was thinking that we have already had mech spammers....so I guess that's a sign we're moving up in the forum world...:laugh:
