who? you've beaten teams with a combined record of 10-18, that's really something to brag about.

2-3 Dolphins
3-3 Jags
3-2 Cards
2-4 Seahawks
0-6 Titans

you have 1 win against a team with a winning record. your little ponies are just like the NY Giants. overrated, outdated, and have no defense.

who have the Colts beat?

Let's update my old post:

The Colts? You mean the guys who have played:

Jacksonville (2-3) who have wins against HOU (2-3) and TEN (0-5)
Miami (1-3) who has a win against BUF (1-4)
Arizona (2-2) who have wins against JAC (2-3) and HOU (2-3)
Seattle (2-3) who have wins against STL (0-5) & JAC (2-3)
Tennessee (0-5) who have wins against.....no one

So the teams they've played have gone a combined 7-16, all against teams with losing records and three of the seven wins coming against teams in that same group.

Broncos, on the other hand have played:

Cincinnati (4-1) who have wins against GB (2-2), PIT (3-2), CLE (1-4) & BAL (3-2)
Cleveland (1-4) who has a win against BUF (1-4)
Oakland (1-4) who has a win against KC (0-5)
Dallas (3-2) who have wins against TB (0-5), CAR (1-3) & KC (0-5)
New England (3-2) who have wins against BUF (1-4), ATL (3-1) & BAL (3-2)

So the teams Denver has played have gone a cumulative 12-13, and five of those wins are against teams with a .500 record or better.

If Indy had played anyone of any substance, then I would definitely concede your point. But they haven't yet. As far as I'm concerned, the Broncos have proved themselves. Colts haven't.

Yet.

So now, after the Colts bye week:

Jacksonville (3-3) who have wins against HOU (3-3), TEN (0-6) & STL (0-6)
Miami (2-3) who has a win against BUF (1-4) & NYJ (3-3)
Arizona (3-2) who have wins against JAC (2-3), HOU (2-3) and SEA (2-4)
Seattle (2-4) who have wins against STL (0-5) & JAC (2-3)
Tennessee (0-6) who have wins against.....no one

Combined record? 10-18

Denver:

Cincinnati (4-2) who have wins against GB (3-2), PIT (4-2), CLE (1-5) & BAL (3-3)
Cleveland (1-5) who has a win against BUF (2-4)
Oakland (2-4) who has a win against KC (1-5) & PHI (3-2)
Dallas (3-2) who have wins against TB (0-6), CAR (2-3) & KC (1-5)
New England (4-2) who have wins against BUF (2-4), ATL (4-1) & BAL (3-3)
San Diego (2-3) who have wins against OAK (2-4) & MIA (2-3)

16-18

Maybe a six game difference isn't much to you.....but it damn sure is to me. The only team the Colts have played with a winning record is Arizona.....and I'm sorry, but that's no feat.

Jags- divisional matchup, always tough
Dolphins- great running team, with a very good run and pass D
Cards- SB runner ups, considered us left for dead
Hawks-meh
Titans- well...okay

overrated like the Giants? well damn, thats still a compliment to me, seeing they are still tops in the NFC East , if 5-1 is overrated, sign me up!

lulz@ the Browns, Chargers, Raiders and Cowboy being "REAL Defenses", the only "real defenses" you guys played against were the Bengals and Patriots, funny times man funny times

lulz@ Arizona being no feat

the same Arizona who dropped a 31 deluxe on Jacksonville with Warner having a career day
the same Arizona that clinched a win defensively against Houston, who MURDERED Cincinnati last sunday
the same Arizona who held Seattle to only a field goal, after Seattle PWNED J-Ville in royal fasion

but the only "feat" you guys truly have is wins over New England and Cincy, Oakland and San Diego are divisional wins, but both are in turmoil, Dallas is not as good as the record shows, and who the hell counts Cleavland a win?

Shazam!

Indy is not as good as the record shows

Edited for accuracy.

Like it or not, Cincy, Dallas, NE and SD are balanced, physical teams and far, far better than any opposition Indy has faced.

For the first time, Indy will face a Broncos team not only with a good defense, but comes armed with a 3-4 that historically have given them fits.

SD's run has ended. Indy is due too.

It all happens in cycles and the Broncos are due. Period.

I hate to agree with GC on this one, but the Colts won't lose to the Broncos if or when they play. Manning has made a career of killing elite defenses, especially in the regular season.

Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark are a handful, and they trump the combo of Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates. You guys had some issues with them last night.

Yeah, the Colts haven't beaten anyone special this year, but it's the same old Colts team; an amazing regular season team...that will lose to damn near anyone in the regular season.

I just have a problem comparing QB's from different eras. Elway would have benefited from rule changes of today, Peyton might have had lesser numbers playing in the 80's and early 90's when QB's used to really take a beating. John would have benefited from not having Reeves as a coach, who stuck to a running game with below average RB's.

Peyton doesn't have the wheels that John had. John wasn't as accurate as Peyton. Both have strong arms, although I'd give a slight edge to John there.

Both are/were incredible QBs anyway you slice it.

I think you have to take each QB, eyeball them the best you can, and go with it.

Elway probably had the strongest arm, ever. I mean, Marino had a cannon, Namoth did, and even worthless Bradshaw did. I think a lot of those guys I mentioned may have had stronger arms for different throws and while moving and all that. IDK.

Peyton can't improvise or move like John. John wasn't as cerebral as Manning is. Manning routinely makes perfect throws. John could, but he didn't have the line Manning had until his career.

The testament to Elway was that when he did have a more modern offense was that in his old age he was still an elite QB.

But guys, he sucked ass at decision making in his youth. I know I know, he had poor offensive talent around him. Agreed, but he did sure throw a ton of INTs on a run first team. You can't put all of that on him having to force a lot of balls to stay in the game.

Now what does irritate me is the "Elway has more rings so he's better". Well, Elway lost three Super Bowls. Elway has less rings than Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and friggin TERRY BRADSHAW.

Terry Bradshaw sucks. It's a joke that he's in the HOF. Anyone who thinks Bradshaw is better than Elway is an idiot.

But goign by that logic he's better than Elway. Ugh. Never. On Elways' worst day he was 100 times better than Bradshaw. Kyle Orton is better than Terry Bradshaw. Ugh.

I won't lie, Elways' in my top five, but winning is overrated for an individual career. If you put Elway on the 90's Bengals he's unfortunately going to be on a terrible team and he's not winning shit. If you put Marino on your SB winning teams you still win the SB.

i remember the last time the Broncos had a top defense and you guys faced us.......

That one was just a plastic fence. We now have upgraded to 6 inch steel. I know how much Peyton loves to get hit so we got plenty for him. Remember the year Denver won their first SB? That was the revenge tour and this year will be our year. :D

I hate to agree with GC on this one, but the Colts won't lose to the Broncos if or when they play. Manning has made a career of killing elite defenses, especially in the regular season.

Emm, not exactly. Before they installed the Manning rule the Patriots had his number. The only way Capt. Retardo wins is if the Refs help him out.

Come playoff time, Manning isn't the same guy. Oh well, he's still a better QB than Elway.

Oh my. Where are my blades?

I just have a problem comparing QB's from different eras. Elway would have benefited from rule changes of today, Peyton might have had lesser numbers playing in the 80's and early 90's when QB's used to really take a beating. John would have benefited from not having Reeves as a coach, who stuck to a running game with below average RB's.

Peyton doesn't have the wheels that John had. John wasn't as accurate as Peyton. Both have strong arms, although I'd give a slight edge to John there.

Both are/were incredible QBs anyway you slice it.

No question about it. But John did things that Peyton could never do on the field. Yes, im biased but i truly also believe that. Peyton is good but not even close to John's level. Sorry.
