My first concert I ever went to was in spring of '96 where I saw The Offspring, AFI, and L7 in Milwaukee.

My old room mate, his first concert was when he was 10 and he saw MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice.

The Eagles at Red Rocks when I was 3 years old.

The first one I went to that I can remember was MC Hammer, Vanilla ICE and En Vogue.

The best one though was the last one I went to....SOCIAL D for the 3rd time!!!!

Somewhere around 1988. George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers, playing at the Salina Kansas civic center (around 7-8000 people).

There was no opening act. They came out (rather late) and just started playing without introduction. After 2-3 songs someone near the front yelled loud enough for George to hear, "WHEN'S GEORGE COMIN' OUT?!!??"

"When's George comin' out? I am George you dumbass!"

That was some quality entertainment there.

Janet Jackson's 1814 some time in 1990. It was at the Tacoma Dome. The thing I remember most about it was smelling weed for the first time.

Metallica Guns n Roses and Body count 91 or 92. Old Mile High

I was at that show. Tripping balls. Remember the pit during Body Count? Dudes were throwing chairs and stuff. I left after metallica though. I strongly dislike guns and roses post Appetite for Destruction.

Hetield had a wrap on his arm from getting burnt and there was a sub rhythm guitar player.

I was in the north stands. We couldn't see very well from way back there. The girlfriend I had at the time was probably the biggest over achievement in my life. Good times.

i had to choose between zz top/aerosmith or ac/dc they were a week apart but 500 miles from my place and since i saw aerosmith 3 years ago i went for ac/dc(a band on my list of bands ive never seen)
i really wish i had done both because aerosmith was almost the best concert i ever went to....eric clapton "journeymen tour" in denver is still my favorite and dire straits at red rocks was fantastic.

In that case, you should see dillinger 4, because the bass player (old, fat, hairy) often plays entire shows buck naked.

1972, with my parents. Floyd Cramer (piano) and Boots Randolph (sax). Excellent concert.

1977, dragged by my girlfriend, John Denver. Excellent concert.

Of my own choice, 1979, KISS, opened by John Cougar. Cougar - excellent, KISS - just phoned it in. KISS later fired Cougar from the tour because he was making them look bad. :)
