I want us to make Russel look worse than he has the past 2 games, and I want our Oline to make their D line look useless.

Hopefully its an easy game like it should be.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I believe this is going to be a tough low point game. Raiders stuff BRONCOS run game and Orton/the receivers have to come up with points. Another defensive game!

Also the BRONCOS, when they play mediocre QBs, seem to make them look All Pro, though last week they did a good job with Quinn.

Just kidding, you know I respect your opinion, but I think that we take it to the Raiders and win FAIRLY comfortably.

This game is going to be a blowout. The Raiders have played us good before, but with our improved defense and their inability to pass the ball I am thinking 34-10! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tend to think we are going to have a tuff game.

Our O is not all that finely tuned yet. They hAve very good running attack.

They also have one of the top DL in the game.

I hope we win but I suspect a loss in OAK.

We're gonna run the ball.

Then we're gonna pass the ball.

Then we're going to score................. over and over.

We're going to stuff the run.

Then we're going to sack the quarterfat.

Then we're going to make them punt.............over and over.

Looking at the last 3 games between the two teams, it seems to have been blowouts by both teams. Last close game went to OT, 23-20, and this game wouldn't surprise me if it does go to OT. All I ask of the BRONCOS is please don't let Russell look like the next Peyton Manning!!

3-0 FOR SURE! Then we expose the craptacular Cowboys at home, then knock off the Patriots, and finally beat the Chargers at Qaulcomm and head into the bye week undefeated!!!
 That would be cool.

As far as today goes, from what I've seen so far we SHOULD handle Oakland no problem. I expect it to be not much of a game by the 3rd quarter. 27-10 DENVER!

I feel good about that match-up. Not that we're going to shut them down but just enough to keep them in check. It's our offense against their defense that concerns me. Their going to throw everything including the mother-in-law at Orten and i don't blame them. Hopefully our o-line is up to the task. Along with Ortens decision making, it'll be up to the guys up front to control this game. If things get too crazy and we can't slow down that pass rush, it would be nice to see a couple screens to counter it and start to try to keep some of their backers back a little bit and open some things up underneath. We need to try and isolate our WRs on their LBs, create some mismatch's. Not sure if that's in our game plan though, we'll see.

I'm thinking the same thing. Our defense against their offense should be a favorable matchup for us.

However, their defense is pretty stout, especially the big bodies on the line. It will be a big test for our offensive line, both in the running game and pass blocking. If our line holds up to the Raider's line, then we could be in for a fun game to watch. If not, it could be a low scoring nail biter.

The short route, counter run type offense if how you remedy that and thats what we run. As long as our receivers don't get the dropsies and our backs can keep their average above 3-4 yds we will be fine.

Watching the Patriot game, and have watched part of their first three games. One thing I have specifically been looking at is the arm strength, because some have made the case that Brady has an arm similar to Orton's. What I have seen, is that Brady by no means has a weak arm. It might not be quite in the Cutler or cannon range, but it's closer to cannon than noodle.

Now, as I have also said, Orton's arm isn't as week as some have claimed, but more an issue with accuracy and throwing the right ball (soft when it should be soft, hard when it should be hard) than a pure velocity thing.

That said, Brady appears to have quite a bit more zip on his balls than Orton. I think Orton has 'enough' zip, but for those taking the "Brady has a weak arm, and look how successful he is, Orton is just like him" route, it really isn't the case.

I wish someone would start a site for NFL players, formatted like rosters in Madden. List their names, positions, teams, ages, contracts, years left, and make it all sortable.... would be nice.

doom is the only one that jumps out at me, cause of that other thread. i'm not too worried about getting him resigned. he better not think a 4 sack game against eh browns makes him league-elite. i love doom, but he's still 95% pass rusher at the OLB spot. coach even said so.

aha! maybe doom is going to show that he IS a complete player this week somehow. that awakening wouldn't be very rude, though. it would be more pleasant...

Receivers are breaking out of their routes and looking back for the ball and it's still in Ortens hand. The ball needs to be there when they turn around and out of Ortens hand alot sooner. Hopefully that gets better as the season goes along and everyone gets more familiar with each other. I understand timing doesn't just grow on trees.

And yeah i agree, Brady has a gun when he needs to.

Per Denver Post tweet:

Big loss. Marshall and Royal will have to step up in this game. Stokes seems to be Oton's go to guy so far this season, especially on key 3rd down throws. I wonder who will replace Stokes in the slot? Will Royal take Stokely's spot with Marshall and Gaffney being lined up out wide? Will McKinley or Lloyd step in?

Wide receiver Brandon Stokley (thigh) and running back Knowshon Moreno (groin) will be in uniform for Sunday’s game in Oakland. How much the two will be able to play is uncertain, but they were not among the team’s gameday inactives.

Tom Brandstater was designated as the team’s No. 3 quarterback while wide receiver Kenny McKinley, linebacker Spencer Larsen (shoulder), guard Seth Olsen, nose tackle Chris Baker, tackle Brandon Gorin, wide receiver Brandon Lloyd and linebacker Jarvis Moss were the team’s inactives.

It also meant that Le Kevin Smith, who has missed time with a left knee injury, was also set to be active and in uniform.

Hey this is first time I am not going to the Broncos @ Oakland game in the last 7 years because of economic reasons.

And it is blacked out...

I have not missed a Bronco game for about 18 years... Does any one know where I can watch the game on the internet, so that way I dont have to listen to it on radio?

If not what are the Broncos radio links (On my other computer)? I think it is 850 koa...

http://www.broncosforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=761237&postcount=54

Yes, radio is 850KOA
