Seems like 16th street area has gone to crap. I need to take a trip in for business (and will catch a game as bonus), and am looking for a nice area to spend two nights. Will have my CEO and one other VIP type, so looking for a nice area with nice hotels and some restaurants and stuff not too far away (can Uber, doesn't have to be walking).

Any suggestions?

DTC area is nice. Lots of restaurants, etc. Best hotel (IMO) is Inverness Hotel & Golf.

It's always awkward answering these types of questions though - I live here and don't really stay at hotels (unless the wife kicks me out) :)

That's the tech center area, right? That's what I was thinking. Figured that or Cherry creek, but was thinking tech center. From what I remembered, it was supposed to be a newer (relatively speaking now) area with restaurants, microbrews, etc.
