The next indignance up for us is getting beat by UDFA Taylor Heinicke, who is somehow better than all the QBs on our roster!

No they aren’t. They ******* suck

They do. But we couldn't beat a washed up Ben Roethlisberger, or a Raiders team that just lost their head coach or a Browns team lead by Keenum and a backup RB, so I am guessing WTF will be a challenge.

They're averaging nearly 21 points/game. They've lost to the Chargers, Bills, Saints, Chiefs and Packers.

This is most definitely not a "gimme" game.

I had this on my calendar as a W, but, it won't be easy. This is a game that we could easily lose.

DENVER — In recognition of Peyton Manning's induction into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Broncos will celebrate the legendary quarterback during the team's Week 8 game against Washington on Sunday.

Fans are welcome to join in on the festivities, which begin on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Empower Field at Mile High's Ring of Fame Plaza on the south side of the stadium. Fans are invited to attend as Manning unveils his Ring of Fame pillar and then takes part in a Q&A session emceed by Dave Logan, the longtime play-by-play voice of the Broncos on KOA NewsRadio.

Manning will also be honored at halftime of the game, when he will speak to the crowd from midfield as he accepts his Ring of Fame ring and unveils his name on the Level 5 interior facade inside Empower Field at Mile High.

We would’ve been in a better shape had we started the season playing the giants, the jets, Jax and WFT :)
WE WOULD’VE BEEN 4-0. Sonofabiatch!

Oh ... honoring our ROH folks has gone so well so far this season.

I'll chalk it up as another embarrassing loss.

Utterly Useless PFF Stat of the Day; PS2 has been on the field for a bagillion defensive snaps and hasn’t given up a single play of 20+ yards.

I mean, we’ve seen PS2 get beat deep, once or twice, only to get bailed out by an inaccurate pass.

Conversely; we’ve also seen Ronald Darby get beat by a perfect pass while in outstanding coverage.

PFF is a fat ******* joke, y’all should be ashamed for paying for that drivel.

Except PFF has him giving up two plays of 20+ yards, so that’s, you know, not even true.

And Surtain has a 56 grade from PFF, which is not good at all, so I’m not sure how that jives with the “man, PFF severely overrated Surtain” jive coming from Jaded’s post.

Frankly, I think that grade is low. He’s already not getting thrown at, completely, by quarterbacks.

I never said they overrated PS2, I like PS2, I said their stats are worth next to nothing when put into context.

Take it up with Vic Lombardi, Mark Moser and Brett Kaine, Harris, Hastings and Dover.

They’re the ones nut-hugging PFF, I don’t read PFF until draft time .

I tell you one thing the Washington football team has a very very poor secondary so if we can’t make anything happen it’s because there front 4 got the best of us……

another bit of not so exciting news. . .

Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy also did not practice on Friday. He’s eligible to be activated from injured reserve, but Fangio told reporters that he had some ankle soreness after working the last three days. He’s still on injured reserve, so there’s no official injury designation for Sunday.

I suppose I would prefer JJ to not play if there's a risk of reinjury, especially when we're going nowhere fast anyway.

That’s nothing, McLaurin is going to eat our secondary and their “bend but don’t break, unless you’re covering the deep ball, then break” philosophy. Heinecke or the Beard or whoever starts is going to have a career day. No pressure and DBs who just sit in zone and let guys run by them. Does it get any easier?

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —The Broncos have officially activated wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, tight end Albert Okwuegbunam and inside linebacker Jonas Griffith to their 53-man roster from injured reserve.

Jeudy, Okwuegbunam and Griffith are now eligible to play against the Washington Football Team on Sunday.

Denver also elevated inside linebacker Barrington Wade to the game-day roster.

If Jeudy plays Sunday, it will be his first game action since suffering an ankle injury in the Broncos' Week 1 win over the Giants. Jeudy caught six passes for 72 yards in a little more than two quarters of play.
